I recently visited Sahel Restaurant on Broadway with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the chicken kebab, beef kebab, and several appetizers. The chicken kebab was tender and flavorful, while the beef kebab was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Among the appetizers, the grape leaf wrap stood out with its fresh and tangy taste. I had heard a lot about this restaurant, so I finally decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the lamb platter, which was supposed to be enough for four people, and I must say that the portion size definitely justified the price. The taste of the food was exceptional; everything was cooked to perfection. We also had tea and baklava for dessert, and the tea reminded me of the delicious tea flavors in Iran. It was a nostalgic and amazing experience. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant more often. The ambiance is warm and beautiful, and it truly immerses you in Iranian culture.

We recently visited Sahel Restaurant in Vancouver and ordered the chicken and lamb dishes, as well as their dessert. While the main courses were delicious and well-prepared, I was disappointed with the dessert. The dessert, which appeared to be Faloodeh, tasted old and lacked the freshness I was expecting. It seemed like it had been sitting for a while and didn't have the vibrant flavors typically associated with this dish. Overall, while the main courses were enjoyable, the dessert fell short and could use some improvement in terms of freshness.

Food above average, portion is really big. I ordered ground beef and beef kebabs or Boltani Kebab, ground beef kebab is very tasty, Basmati rice also have flavor on it, the beef kebab is a bit hard. Boneless chicken kebab is also very tasty, and the meat is so soft. Service is good and friendly. Love the atmosphere, not too crowded, table seating has distance.

This place has two arms to it. The left half a market and donair spot, and the right a sit down Iranian restaurant. Both are fantastic and serve the neighborhood well.nnOn the left, I got this two pita monster and a cookie for my son. I did not get to try the cookie, but the chicken donair was awesome and has a zest to it that is different then other spots in the city.nnIf you are in the neighborhood, I would definitely recommend checking this spot out.
