First time at Haidilao and it did not disappoint! Our server, Marine was amazing. Really attentive, really nice and explained everything so clearly, he gave us lens cleaning wipes for our glasses, a hair tie for my wife, helped us peel shrimp, topped up the soup multiple times without asking, refilled our drinks every time and made our experience unforgettable. We were able to use a few secret codes and even got to see the mask changing dancer. The food and drinks are great quality but I think the best part is the overall experience. Every server is so kind and attentive, we can't wait to come back. Thanks for such a great experience Marine!

This was my first time at Haidi Lao and I had a wonderful experience! It's close to the date of my birthday, and I was nearby with my mom, so we decided to come and we got a table without a wait.nOur server Jasper did a fantastic job making sure we have what we need and confirming whether we need anything else. The food and soup bases we got and are tasty and I love that it switches every now and then. The separate dishes by the sauces section is also super fun to try out. I absolutely enjoyed the multiple fun surprises near the end of the meal.nThe team worked well together to ensure our experience is smooth.nI liked that the rewards program has a fun touch to highlight birthday month benefits. I do think it would be better if we don't need to be asked to sign up for the membership when we just sat down at the table. We needed some time to look at the food options, and we could then hear about what the benefits could be for using a membership.

They have a special lunch offer at $39.99 per couple or $19.99 per person. We enjoyed an awesome lunch at this great price. Soup base, meat and carbohydrates can be selected from a lunch menu, a fixed plate of vegetables, shrimp pastes, quail eggs.. and a drink from two choices, plus ice cream as dessert are all included.nnWe had tomato soup & pork bone soup, beef and prawns, deep-fried buns and noodles. The meat is very fresh and soup is flavourful. We can’t finish all, and pack the bone soup and noodles home for dinner.nnService is beyond words. I was amazed to see a pretty lady removing shell and legs from the prawns we ordered. We were treated as VIP though we just ordered the lunch special.nnThe deal will also be available next month May 2025, Monday to Friday till 4:30pm. I highly recommend readers to try.

Staff was super friendly, but I wish they would've checked in more. We would go to grab our food from the cart when we made room on the table, and once they noticed, they would help, but usually, it was already done.nI wish there was more noddle and veg selection.nWe all loved the entertainment! We weren't expecting it, but it was a great surprise! They also decorated the table for my birthday, which was very sweet and very appreciated.

Not friendly for single diner!nnI was dining in alone and was pretty much ignored the whole time. The waitress was very nice but she had to tend to 8 tables all by herself, and all the tables and 2+ people, I was the only table with one.nI received pretty much no service, even when I tried to call for another waitress passing by, she didn’t hear me. Waited more than 20 mins and no one came to my table, so had grabbed the gloves from the drawer and spent 15 mins peeling shrimp. Then my soup was boiling down. Of course no one came to top up the soup. I had to take everything out of the pot so it wouldn’t burn.nWhen I finally got someone’s attention, I asked for a takeout box and to pay for the bill. She gave me the bill and box, and left. I sat there for another 20 minutes with my card in my hand. After 20 mins, I stood up to try to get someone’s attention, and finally I was able to pay and leave.nI don’t know if it was because I didn’t spend over 100 dollars like I usually do when I go with friends and family, or simply because I was alone, but never had Haidilao disappointed me this much in terms of service. I never got offered fruit when I first sat down too.nThis is worse service than a typical dim sum restaurant. At least the aunties come when called at dim sum.nMaybe don’t promote the “combo for one” if it’s going to be a terrible experience.
