The Wolf and Hound

First time we tried this place and we did takeout via uber eats. Was overall kind of disappointed with the mac and cheese we got. It was small and really nothing special. Always surprised when I get a pasta dish that doesn't fill me up, but I cooked some chicken fingers at home to compliment it and fill me up. It did come with a side salad that was pretty good.

Great place. On Saturday night they have live music. The burger was great. The place is spacious and not crowded. Free parking on the street.

A great old school Irish pub! Tasty burgers and fantastic service. Live music was beginning as we left. He was good, but would have made conversation difficult had we stayed. An excellent experience all around.

I ordered a homemade burger, and for the price, I expected a proper burger. Unfortunately, it was pretty normal. IMO, the burger itself was overcooked and not as juicy as it should have been. While I did enjoy it, I've had better burgers at chain restaurants for a lower price.nnThe fries were a real disappointment. They were chewy instead of crispy, which I didn’t like at all. I’d give the burger a 3.5/5 and the fries a 2/5. The presentation could have been better too—it felt like they just handed me the food without any creativity.nnI’m not planning to order from them again, but I might try them in person one more time to see how it goes.

This pub is a winner. Many nights have live Irish music. Beer selection is good, food is very good to excellent. Prices on the higher side, but really worth it for the atmosphere.
