Chicko Chicken Dunbar

The fries and the chicken were tasteless, even though is a Korean restaurant all I got with my order was some unwanted ketchup. I guess for the additional taste you must pay over 15$ plus tip. It about 15 min to make that menu. Nope I will not go back there.

Had an urge for Korean fried chicken and came across Chicko Chicken on Dunbar. I believe they are a franchise with many locations in the lower mainland. I ordered the half portion of their Yangyeom chicken. It's their sweet and spicy sauce tossed with their fresh fried portions of boneless chicken. The flavor was awesome, and the chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Next time, I have to order the other flavors.

My recent visit to Chicko Chicken on Dunbar left me thoroughly satisfied. I decided to try their boneless fried chicken, and I'm glad I did. The crispy coating gave way to juicy, flavorful meat that hit all the right spots. If you're on the hunt for some tasty fried chicken, Chicko Chicken won't disappoint. Give it a try next time you're in the mood for some comfort food.

The first impressions of this place were not good. First of all, their digital menu clearly stated that customers get free pickles and drinks with a full order, but they said that was no longer the case because many customers didn’t want pickles or drinks, so it was an additional cost.nnThen, after ordering my son asked to use a washroom and they allow up to 10 patrons to sit in and dine, which we did but they claimed to have no washroom and directed us to the Tim Hortons a few minutes up the street. I’m no lawyer, but I feel like this goes against provincial laws / Vancouver bylaws for dining establishments.nnOnto the food. We got a full order $25 of half soy garlic and half cheese powder chicken to go along with shake-shake fries $3.50. The food is nowhere near healthy, but it is delicious. The chicken is juicy and the fries are crispy and flavourful.nnI’m curious how much chicken you get in the combo meal as it is listed as a full order, but it’s only $12.nnOverall, the food is good, but the customer service isn’t great and they should provide the extra pickles and drinks if it is stated on the menu would have been no problem for a restaurant with good service and customer appreciation…plus, a couple of tablespoons of daikon won’t break the bank.nnI’d go back to Chicko Chicken, just not to this location.

If you're a fan of delicious fried chicken, then you absolutely must check out this restaurant. I recently tried their boneless fried chicken, and it was incredibly delicious. The original flavor was crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside - it's one of the best fried chicken dishes I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.
