This bustling breakfast chain has undoubtedly earned its place among Vancouver's brunch favorites, and for good reason. If you're in search of a quiet, leisurely spot, this might not fit the bill, as its atmosphere is consistently lively, busy, and fast-paced. Yet, there's a certain charm in that energetic vibe, especially when it's exactly the wake-up call you need. While a few menu items might not live up to their lofty reputations, the diverse offerings ensure there's something delicious for everyone. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, and fortunately, finding one is becoming increasingly easier as the chain continues to grow.
Heard really great things about Jam Cafe so had to try it ourselves and it was a delightful experience! My husband and I ordered the Charlie Bowl Crumbled buttermilk biscuit, hash browns, ham, bacon, roasted corn salsa, cheddar cheese, and pork sausage topped with gravy and the Chicken French Toast Brioche french toast topped with buttermilk fried chicken, hot honey sauce, pickled cabbage, jalapeño sour cream, maple bourbon BBQ glaze, green onions and cilantro. Definitely recommend the charlie bowl if you want something a little bit heavier and comforting. Whereas the chicken french toast has an amazing balance of sweet and savoury. Our little one had the kids plate, which they had put in the shape of a butterfly!!! She was so happy when she saw it. The service was great and the atmosphere had great vibes!
Came here on a Sunday just the 2 of us and got in within 10 mins. If your with a small group you’ll get in faster. We came around 130. Great service and super friendly servers and hostess. I like this location better than downtown.nnThe food was hearty and super generous portions! Very delicious . Ricotta pancakes were good and the tater tots with pork was mouth watering good! I’d come again
4.5 overall. Great service and good food. Expect a line up at this location as with all other locations and for the reason that this brunch is well flavoured, not bland and with enough unique offerings. Love the Canadian indoor decor. It's much easier to sit for a table of 1-2 ppl as with larger groups you will need to wait longer. Food is not oily or greasy. Expect to spend about $20+ per meal.
Plate size single fluffy pancake, piled high with tasty and tender pulled pork. And a single french toast with maple butter on the side. Delicious and filling. Could not finish the pulled pork pancake at the cafe, but it will be consumed later! Excellent service provided by the staff, and coffee definitely is kept bottomless!
