Bells & Whistles Dunbar

4.5. Casual vibe, great spot in Dunbar. Big menu with something for everyone and wonderful service.nThey have daily specials and a nice happy hour selection of drinks.nService is great and it’s kid friendly.nThe food is general pub fare with some elevated twists. All burgers can come in a lettuce wrap or a gluten free bun.

This is one of my happy places in Vancouver. I love the beer on tap. The food does not disappoint. The service is great as well. I have tried the dessert and it is good too. We loved the churros and donuts. A good hang out place close to home.

A secret menu with Winnipeg classics at the Fraser location is what first brought me to bells.nDunbar seems to not have the honey dill sauce, but still has great gluten free fryer menu and great service.nGf fish tacos were fabulous, it can be hard to find!nMy partner had their Mighty Burger with the Tuesday special, free upgraded side, chilli cheese fries.

Cute spot but small portions and the gluten free fish tacos sounded great but were mainly batter and came with a tiny bit of coleslaw. It really needed some sauce for flavour or at least a lime. The spot is fun with a deck and friendly servers.

I found the portions small and the prices high. I ordered a salad and it more lettuce than toppings and my protein add on was not worth the extra $8. Burgers seemed to be smaller than other establishments but the kids meals were good and well sized.
