Lovely brunch spot just off Davie and Burrard. Lots of great options and a good variety of food and drinks. The decor and style is top notch. Great spot for a special occasion or just for fun.nnReasonable prices for the quality, no one left hungry. The staff were great. I wish they had slightly more reservation times/slots.nnTried the Dutch baby from a friend and it was delicious. The salmon rosti I had was also very good. I hope to try this place again soon.

Brunch / lunch perfection. Excellent food and service and beautiful room and sweet patio. Going again asap to catch up with dear friends. Food hits all the right notes. Presentation is fantastic.

Service and atmosphere were really nice. I love everything about it. The salmon benedict was great too. We also tried their holiday special menu which was the truffle toast unfortunately it was not our cup of tea. Would love to try other menus next time.

After getting their ads a bunch of times guess IG knows I’m weak for brunch and French toast I decided to visit Maxine with a few friends. Vibes are chic European bistro inspired, while still being cozy and casual. Compared to other brunch places, there’s ample places between tables with sofa and heated patio areas. Quite attentive service as well. Most importantly, I really appreciate the fact that they allow you to make reservation.nnBanana Foster French Toast $21 8/10nLook, if there’s a french toast in the menu, 9/10 I will order it. Maxine’s take involves tons of caramel, whipped mascarpone, bananas, and pecans. Love how soaked the brioche was and the caramel and banana flavour combination. Everything about the dish screams decadent sweet brunch and I’m here for it. It got a bit much after a while but there’s no denying it’s one of the best french toast in Vancouver.nnFried Chicken n Biscuits $23 7.5/10nThe white gravy and eggs added a much needed moisture to the dish without being too heavy while jalapeno helps cut through the richness of the dishnnSmoked Brisket Croque Madame $26 5/10nDefinitely the most filling out of everything we got. Sourdough was overfilling with the brisket and gruyere mornay. That said, friend wasn’t a fan of how heavy the cheese is and I have to agree with him.nnSalmon Benedict $23, The West End $21 & Maxine Burger $23nDidn’t try but got good feedbacks from friends who ordered these.

Nice and cozy brunch place in downtown. Loved that we could make a reservation, even though there was no lineup when we arrived on a Sunday. The food was delicious and generous with salmon but way too salty. Coffee was quite good for my taste! Waited a little more than we'd like for someone to take our order and then again for a bill. Otherwise the servers are super nice, polite, professional, and positive, which made us feel welcome and enjoy our time there! I wish it wasn't so loud though – we had a really hard time trying to have a conversation.
