Jo's is great! We went on Valentine's Day to try their famous sandwich and pasta – given the little space, we already predicted that it would be busier than ever. Even so, the staff was super polite and our order was done under the time they had predicted. My favourite was the Italian sub – plenty of cold cuts with lots of freshness. The spaghetti bolognese was also top-notch, and even surprisingly spicy. Definitely recommend for a honest meal. Bonus: their iced tea is great!!
Jo’s Italian Deli had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a nice spot to escape the rainy night. The place had a lively yet relaxed feel, and I was really looking forward to a comforting Italian meal.nnI ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and while the sauce was creamy and flavorful, the pasta itself was a bit undercooked. It had more bite than I expected, which took away from the smooth, comforting experience I was hoping for. The garlic bread also looked promising but was a little too firm for my liking—I was expecting something softer inside with a crispy crust.nnOn the bright side, I really enjoyed the chickpea salad! It was fresh and had a nice balance of flavors, which I didn’t realize I’d miss until now. It was a great contrast to the heavier pasta dish.nnBut the hazelnut latte? That was the real winner of the night. Smooth, warm, and just the right amount of sweetness—it was exactly what I needed while watching the rain outside. I’d go back just for that coffee alone.nnOverall, Jo’s Italian Deli had a nice vibe, and some parts of the meal were enjoyable, but the pasta and bread could have been better. Still, the coffee and the atmosphere made it a cozy place to spend the evening.
My family and I went here for lunch. We had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, chicken pesto sandwich and kids grilled cheese. The pasta is super fresh, well seasoned, tasty and good portion. The sandwich is a must too, it’s big, two people can definitely share if you don’t eat a lot; both dishes well worth for the price. It’s packed with meat and the pesto is delicious, everything seem to be all very fresh ingredients. The ice tea is also so good, it’s not super sweet. My daughter said the kids cheese wasn’t as flavourful and a little bland but she was impressed with the focaccia bread that came with the pasta.nThe place was busy especially with the lunch service but the turnaround is fast. So before we got our order, we found a table.nSince it was busy, there were lots of dishes not put away and tables available are not being cleaned right away.nI just wanna mention the washroom wasn’t as clean as it should be. Just needs more maintenance.nOverall it was a good experience, we enjoyed the food and the authentic Italian ambiance and would recommend going there. I would like to try the other location too.
The quality of their ingredients is top-notch, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. Their sandwiches are perfectly balanced—fresh bread, generous fillings, and incredible flavors. The deli has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or picking up some Italian goodies to take home, Jo’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Their pasta is absolutely great! The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous. A server she took our order was very friendly and enthusiastic, even recommending some great drinks. We’ll definitely come back next time!
