Big Way Hot Pot 大味 (Kerrisdale)

A lot of fresh food to choose from in the bar. The soup is also easily customized by the spicy level. It is a super busy place but very well organized. Joining the wait list is mandatory. We were able to sit down within 10 min after our number was called.nThe kimchi was a promotion in September. Not available anymore.

We went there for lunch with family at the afternoon. Today is holiday so the restaurant was busy but the host made us table after we were waited for 10minutes only. We choose big way Kerrisdale for family lunch. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. Everything was look so fresh and good. We had tomato broth and the new chocolate ice cream flour was amazing. The staff were so friendly and gave great services. Highly recommend this big way location. Will be back soon.

3.5 stars.nOverall an ok meal. The soup base were too salty than I would have liked I did the no spicy option. Some smaller item like sausage went missing from my bowl. Decent selection of veggies and fishballs. The fish were frozen solid, and the one that wasn't was boiled to mush, so definitely skip the fish.nThe ingredient quality at this location seem a bit more inconsistent than other big way locations I've been too.

Clean and new space of hotpot always crowded. I like this location personally because of the ambiance and design. It is modern, young and fun. Free icecream at the end, happy hour before 5pm mon-frid i think you got upgrade drink with meal purchase

Such a cool experience! It's like a u-grill situation but with hot pot. Many selections of hot pot ingredients to choose from, including all the classics but also some new ones that I've never seen before. You pay by weight for the ingredients and then choose a broth. The vegan tomato broth was so good that I didn't even really use my sauce. I love that your meal comes with a tea drink and an ice cream cone afterwards. Great service and yummy food. Will be coming back again to try more things!
