Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre

We had a great stay overall especially enjoying the complimentary breakfast, which offered a fantastic variety of options. We booked the king suite with a hot tub and made good use of it throughout our visit. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping was exceptionally accommodating, quickly providing extra towels and pillows for our kids.nnThe only reason I'm taking off a star is that the bed and pillows were far too soft, which left me with a neck ache the next morning. Despite that, it was a pleasant stay!

Good location, lots of parking.nCheck in was easy and front desk staff was lovely.nThe room was good, everything you need. Decent beds and comfy bedding.nThe bathroom was very dated. The shower didn’t drain properly so you were standing in a tub full of water the whole time.nnThe pool area was very dated and could use a deep clean. Also it was closed in the morning which was disappointing.nThe breakfast restaurant also wasn’t open, which wasn’t apparent on their website or in any communication.nnSeems they are slowly doing some updates, might be a better in a year or two.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The lobby is absolutely beautiful—bright, modern, and very welcoming. Unfortunately, once you get to the rooms, it's a completely different experience. The hallways and rooms are dark, and the rooms feel very old and outdated. The carpet looked dirty, and the towels didn't seem very clean, which made me feel uncomfortable during my stay.nThe breakfast was also disappointing. It reminded me of hospital food, with very limited options and not much flavour.nOverall, the lobby creates a great first impression, but the guest rooms and breakfast did not meet my expectations.

do plan to eat outside the hotel if you're celiac like myself, the sushi restaurant doesn't have many options for us folks, though Uber eats was simple to navigate. the sauna was not open by 8am which was a little lame, also the breakfast station was low staffed and not open so I had to sort out my own breakfast unexpectedly. the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. nice stay for a good price! lobby is gorgeous, only things I'd change is an update to the room showers, reliable in house breakfast options, more available options in sushi restaurant for those with diet restrictions and have the spa warm and ready by 7am.

Friend doesn't do online reviews, but we usually stay here on trips together to the city. He said the place was way too hot across two rooms this time around, and the tv and internet system changed. TV was better as a digital cable service and internet is now 2-3Mbps unless you pay 10 dollars extra for upgraded internet. This is a very poor decision for my choice when picking a hotel.nnThe heat alone would be a deal breaker.
