Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre

Great hotel! Came to the suite with a king bed and jetted tub with my fiance and had a very enjoyable night. Loved the view of the lobby from our suite's balcony. Wonderful atmosphere and ambience with the piano music and lights. Great restaurant options.

I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed my stay here! Firstly, since it is a conference centre it is huge! And has a beautiful foyer for events, with a restaurant and lounge. Even the front lobby is welcoming, they have a lot of chairs to hangout solo I did while I waited for food delivery or with friends. Then the amenities, as mentioned sushi restaurant, lounge, then there’s the large fitness centre and pool that while the design feels a little vintage, I found it charming and very relaxing in the deep hot tub.nThen the rooms, very clean and comfortable. I had a view of the main event centre and I found that very unique and loved it! I was not familiar with this hotel at all before staying and when I walked in my jaw dropped. I felt fancy even though my rate was extremely reasonable, I’ve paid so much more for one night in other places that barely offered any other perks. Every staff member I spoke to from front desk to housekeeping to maintenance was very friendly and made me feel taken care of. Then, when I filled out the review that they send to your email, someone from the front desk team actually emailed me in regards to my review to say thank you! Which prompted this current review to express my gratitude. This sounds like I’m sponsored by them but I just truly had an amazing time! 10/10 recommend if you want a clean, friendly, reasonably priced option with many amenities right in your hotel, a delicious restaurant across the streetVaticano Cucino, and fairly easy access to the rest of the city!

This experience was unacceptable due to the hotel’s complete failure to properly manage a serious and dangerous situation. The issue was not the hotel itself, but the way the security team handled an incident that occurred directly outside our room.nnA guest was screaming in the hallway claiming that someone had cut off her fingers, with her arms visibly covered in blood. She was clearly under the influence and in distress. We ran to the lobby to get help while still being able to hear her screaming from the second floor. Security eventually escorted her downstairs but failed to secure the doors, allowing her to return to the floor and continue screaming outside our room. This repeated until approximately 4:00 a.m., when police finally arrived.nnPolice remained outside our door until nearly 5:00 a.m., questioning the guest and others involved. We could hear everything and were unable to get any rest. After witnessing something this disturbing, sleep was impossible.nnWhile I understand that a hotel cannot control guest behavior, it is absolutely responsible for how emergencies are handled. The lack of control, failure to secure the area, and decision to allow this guest to remain in the hotel demonstrate extremely poor judgment. I requested to be contacted regarding this incident and never received any follow-up. In the morning, the front desk staff stated there was no manager available and offered no apology, only the comment that “we can’t control the guests.”nnThis response shows a complete lack of accountability. The situation was mishandled from start to finish, and the failure to acknowledge or address the impact on guests is unacceptable.

Overall its a lovely facility unfortunately my visit left me with the opposite of what i originally rented it for given I live in this city. I needed a break and good sleep but repeated fire alarms were going off, i had multiple issue's with key card access and parking access leaving me without proper clothing for -32° weather conditions outside stuck at the parkade to walk to and from the main doors caused me to be so cold i decided to use the hot tub and the cleanliness of hot tub was terrible, actually the worst ive ever experienced leaving me with a bad rash i still have 10 days later, and the price i was given differed by $62 when i arrived had all this not happened im sure it would have been worth not going home to sleep in my own bed for free but i left feeling quite upset.

Focused Leadership Group utilized the conference centre and WOW, the facility is truly amazing! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! The lady in charge of our needs from tables, to room configuration, to food and beverage was AMAZING! I hope that Wyndham hotel appreciates Annaliza Garcia!
