This is my by far favourite hotel we have stayed at yet. The staff are hands down amazing. I have never seen better hotel staff to be honest. The views are breathtaking especially if you have a water view. If it’s a special occasion which it was for us they go above and beyond. We have stayed here the past 2 years for my daughters birthday and it is amazing.nnIt doesn’t get more historic and beautiful. I love the salt water pool and honestly everything about this hotel. I felt so relaxed well there and when I left. It’s downtown so it’s not free but honestly that’s the only thing that could make it even more wonderful. I was actually blown away by how good it was to be there again and how great it felt to be treated like we were.nnThank you for making our stay so memorable. Thank you for your kindness and the room upgrade. I literally can’t say enough good things about this hotel, if you haven’t stayed there I highly recommend it. Very grateful we got the opportunity to go there again. It’s definitely worth the money and you won’t be disappointed.
It was a marvelous experience for me and my colleagues who stayed in this hotel during our sojourn in Edmonton. The staff are so kind and professional and ever ready to help us out even when we had some challenges that I won’t want to mention. They are truly a world class staff and they deserve praise.
Older hotel but it exudes style and class. The staff are really attentive.nnRooms are recently renovated. The only downside is you are downtown so if you sleep lightly, you will hear sirens at all hours. Bring earplugs if you do.
The bathroom was gorgeous and the pillows were very comfortable. The valet employees were exceptional.nnThe room was 30+ degrees and it took all night to cool down with the windows open so I got to experience downtown Edmonton at its finest. The windows opened but didn't have screens in them so that could be safety issue.nThe rooms didn't have garbage bags, a fridge, or a microwave but were available for an additional $25 each per night.nnPaying $40.00 to park at the hotel you are staying at is absolutely insane.
We just stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. I booked a Fairmont Gold room, and was very pleased to find that we were upgraded to a suite! That was unexpected and a real treat for us! As I was out exploring the hallway, our concierge saw me and asked if I would like a quick tour of the best suite in the hotel…Of course I excepted and enjoyed looking around the suite that the Queen and celebrities like Paul McCartney have stayed it. Our dining experience at the Harvest Room was excellent too. The food was good and the staff were all friendly. I hope to stay there again!!!
