JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District

I want to thank the team at JW Ice District, for helping to create a memorable weekend for me and my friends at this location. We went to celebrate one mom's journey after completing her son's first round of chemo, and be ready and rested as he heads into round 2. When I called ahead of time to see if there was anything special they could do, I spoke with Kimberley, who came up with a multitude of ways to improve our experience. When we arrived, there were decorations and treats to celebrate, along with a personalized note. However, when we arrived, we found our room a tad too small and called to request a cot, which they couldn't fit, due to fire code. Manager- on-duty Sean stepped in to save the day, and upgraded our group to a size that would allow us to really enjoy our stay, and made it legendary. Everyone we encountered was truly so kind, whether they knew the background story or not. I can't say enough and hope this note can be a thank-you to the whole team for a job well done.

The JW Marriott Edmonton is truly my home away from home - I am always impressed by the consistent, personalized service that makes each stay special. Gini at the reception desk is an absolute superstar, always remembering the little details that make me feel valued and welcome.nnThe hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence are unmatched. From the luxurious rooms to the thoughtful amenities, every aspect of the experience is tailored to perfection. I can’t recommend this property enough for anyone looking outstanding service!

My Son and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JW Marriott in Ice District in Edmonton, and I cannot say enough about our amazing experience. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality unlike any other.nnBut what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible care and attention they showed towards my 5-year-old autistic son. The staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and welcome, going out of their way to accommodate his needs and make sure he had a memorable stay.nThey even put on a special show just for him, complete with his favourite characters and music. The joy on his face was priceless, and it warmed my heart to see how much they truly cared about making his stay special.nnI cannot thank the staff at the JW Marriott enough for their kindness, compassion, and dedication to making every us feel like royalty. They truly are the best staff in the world, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, JW Marriott, for making my son feel like a king.

Attended an private dinner for Christmas party. There were about 40 people in our group. There was a set menu for the dinner with a selection of starters, mains and desserts.nnWe were told to arrive at 530 pm. The starter was served about 730pm. Main 800 pm Dessert 845 pm.nnThe portions were very small. It was strange that the main courses included lamb and beef dishes yet the servers did not ask how each person wanted them prepared. The lamb was cooked well done. Very dry and tough.nnMy co worker's steak was medium well. Again, it was over cooked for her taste. Again, the server did not ask for the preference for her steak.nnDisappointing plates, the size and very mediocre. This is the third group dinner I have been invited to and would summarize the three dinners as not memorable.

Pretty spiffy hotel to stay at. We were lucky enough to enjoy the Wayne Gretzky ball room with a catered meal. The room was clean. Our shower set up was a bit weird as the waterfall head was off to the side which rendered the other half of the shower useless. All of the hotel staff was amazing and very friendly.
