The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and delivers a sense of luxury throughout. The rooms are elegant and well-designed. They were a bit smaller than I had anticipated for the price, but the quality and comfort were excellent. The beds were very comfortable, and the service was attentive and friendly.nnValet parking, while an added cost, was worth the convenience. Check-out was efficient, and our vehicle was ready within minutes. I did request a late check-out extension of just one hour but was advised there would be a $50 plus tax charge. Given the $525 nightly rate, I chose not to extend, although it would have been a nice courtesy.nnThe property offers many options for dining and entertainment, including the Alchemy Lounge. Prices are high, but the atmosphere makes it a memorable experience. The executive lounge was an excellent bonus, providing added comfort and convenience that made the stay even more enjoyable.nnThe Ice District itself provides plenty to explore, from shops to lounges. However, guests should be aware that the surrounding area does have a visible presence of homeless individuals and drug users. This does not take away from the luxury inside the hotel, but it is something to be mindful of when walking around the district.nnOverall, this is an expensive but truly luxurious stay that offers comfort, style, and convenience in the heart of the Ice District.

The staff at the JW Marriott are always so accommodating and kind. The lounge is wonderful, and they truly go the extra mile when you’re celebrating a special occasion like an anniversary or birthday — it means a lot. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable, but it’s the exceptional service and thoughtful touches that make this hotel stand out.nnWe were traveling with dogs so it was nice that there is a dog park but the area itself is still rather rough and walking at night can be a bit sketchy

Beautiful hotel - room was excellent and had a great view. Bed was comfy and the soap/shampoo was really nice. Incredibly clean. Lobby bar was great - our bartender was lovely - excellent happy hour. Gym is AMAZING - they also have a juice bar and lululemon retail. Nice pool and hot tub too. We will definitely be back.

I had an incredible stay at the JW Marriott Edmonton over my birthday weekend. The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax and celebrate. The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything downtown has to offer. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make the experience special—I can’t wait to return!

The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. The room were new with fresh furnishings. I reached out to them via a consumer website in Edmonton hoping to get my child’s beloved toy that we accidentally left and I was pleasantly surprised to see this in my mail, shipped international by Marriott at no cost to us. This means a lot to my son and my husband who won this for him.
