Fairfield Inn & Suites Edmonton North

Tried out the hotel as it was close to a friend's house in the NW. Location is fantastic as it is only 25 mins away from the airport, about 10 mins towards downtown, and 20 mins to Sherwood Park. Right by Northgate Mall, which has a lot of food options near by. The hotel has a free breakfast buffet some hot items, mainly your typical free hotel breakfast and free parking.nnRooms are mid to good. Lots of dust in spaces that don't get enough attention. The bathrooms are adequate, however, the corners need to be cleaned better. Beds are comfortable and the temperature controls are good.nnMy biggest issue was surrounding a hotel team and their inability to be quiet at night. I had made a complaint my first night and was asked to be patient as they had to get their coach to quiet them. It didn't really work. I made another complaint the next day then was offered to move rooms. I had suggested to also get a night complimentary and the manager did both!nnThey would get a full 5 stars but the rooms need some attention!

Nothing extravagant, but solid and dependable — which matters when you’re traveling.nnBreakfastnnBreakfast had a few highlights and a few misses. The waffles were definitely a treat. However, the sausages were sitting in quite a bit of oil, and the coffee wasn’t the best. With a few small adjustments in quality control, this could easily be improved. That said, the staff serving during breakfast were friendly and helpful.nnPool AreannThe pool was usable, but the chlorine level felt quite strong. Something to be mindful of, especially for families with children or guests sensitive to chemicals.nnFinal ThoughtsnnThis location provides a reliable and comfortable stay with friendly service. A few small improvements in breakfast quality and pool maintenance would elevate the experience further. Overall, a positive stay.

I stayed one night at Fairfield by Marriott Edmonton North last weekend and everything exceeded expectations. The hotel was spotless, quiet, and modern — from the sparkling lobby to the crisp, comfortable room. The bed was super cozy, and the whole place smelled fresh and clean.nnThe front-desk staff were incredibly kind and professional — genuinely welcoming and happy to help. Check-in was quick, and they made me feel right at home.nnBreakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the dining area was bright and organized. The indoor pool and fitness room looked great, and parking was easy and free.nnThis hotel truly delivers the level of comfort and service you expect from Marriott. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Edmonton — it’s one of the best values in the city!

Got the privilege of having Harry working the front desk. Absolutely brilliant man who is passionate about his job and the safety of the people staying at the hotel. I truly cannot say enough good things about that man, so incredibly lucky I got to enjoy his company! Incredible worker and an incredible human. Will absolutely be back here just for the opportunity to experience his kindness and personality again!! Thank you for making this such a memorable experience harry!!!

Tjis place is great friendly staff. Nice pool with slide. Work out area small but nice..great breakfast in morning. Close to walking distance to stuff.
