Deleted my original review. The hotel failed to get back to me about the issues.nnTherefore, I can say that the room was decent, but pretty dated and needing some TLC in the bathroom. Cleanliness was alright, the location is alright... Only downside, is that reservations fails to inform you that parking is not free, and you'll be paying $30+/day. Chop was absolutely terrible, and the only thing that made it edible was that the staff at Sandman informed me we could pay all of our incidentals using my points RSVP points. So the girlfriend and I dined in the evening, and caught breakfast before we flew out the next day.nnUpon checking out, we were told they are probably not covered, and that they would get back to me. Instead of waiting for an answer, they charged everything to my credit card, and were adamant that they would get back to me.nnWe're over a week now with no answer, and I'm over it. I feel bad for the staff, as clearly management has not trained them fully on these programs, as there was so much confusion regarding this issue.nnOverall, highly unsatisfied. Only saving grace was the concerts venue was a ten minute walk from the hotel.
Anil at the front desk at night was super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and made sure i got everything I needed. I forgot my charger and he was kind enough to let me use his. The morning staff was also very pleasant when I was checking out. Room was super clean and the view is definitely awesome. Great job team.
Awesome hotel, love the hot tub/pool area, as its a wonderful place to decompress after a long day.nnHad issues with the front desk staff upon entry, other staff, more than made up for it, however, it really added undue anxiety and stress to an already extremely emotional stay in Edmonton.
Been here before for my birthday accommodations were wonderful .few months after I decided to come here again because I had a good experience from before only thing is I would be spending two nights this time than one . First thing I went to hop in the shower to only find hair hanging in the drain. We put on the door that the room needs to be clean because not many towels was in the room and need to be changed , plus we ordered room service from the restaurant downstairs so we needed the plates to be gone we left the hotel thinking we wouldn’t want to be in the workers way of cleaning our room few hours has pass we came back to the same room we dirty plates and our towels not be changed . I’ve seen other reviews where you guys said put the door tag on the door if you needed your room to be clean which we did . Bed wasn’t made at all I mean if I’m paying for a service here I’m expecting it to be done we still have soggy towels in our bathroom. Call front desk they said the don’t do housekeeping then why was the door tag left in the room, still having soggy towels and dirty dishes in the room. Not to mention the shower knob that fell off while in the bathroom truly a mess ! I can’t believe we spend so much money for 2 nights for such an awful experience the only thing good about this was the chop result downstairs that offered room service. Honestly need to be compensated for this .Me and my partner is honestly frustrated by this cause we came here for the weekend to relax not to be complaining about services that is included in our fare but not being attended to.I’m really truly disappointed with this hotel I’m for sure never coming back .
Hotel was very busy due to numerous Oilers games. Called the hotel and spoke with front desk staff member Alexandra about a request with my reservation, however it wasn’t able to be filled at that time due the hotel being almost full. The next day during check in I happen to have Alexandra booking us in. Despite dealing with numerous guests she remembered my request and had already resolved it as a result of another guest changing their plans. Appreciate the attention to detail and going out of her way to accommodate the hotel guests.nnRooms were good, elevators were very busy and slow, but overall great location for the hockey games.
