Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel

Stayed for 2 weeks for work, staff was super friendly and sweet. Appreciate that they don’t clean unless you request it so you get a lot of privacy. Especially considering it’s downtown it’s very quiet and peaceful. The pool, hot tub and gym on the top floor was really nice and accessible. And there’s tons of amenities nearby.nnReally the only concern was the bathrooms have no fans so it can get a bit stuffy. It takes a while for the steam to clear but otherwise it was lovely!

The location was perfect and so was the parking. Made it easy to get to and from the Oilers game.nnThe room was mediocre, but relatively clean. Some items could be better kept up, mostly bathroom related. The air vent/duct had not been cleaned in some time and there was some hair stuck to the ceiling from a previous guest. There was also no air vent in the bathroom, making it very stuffy.nnThe provided coal and conditioners were also very cheap and insufficient for the three people we had in the room over the two night stay. The staff was able to send up more towels and toiletries to compensate, however.nnThe staff were very pleasant and accommodating throughout. Would stay there again but book out earlier to get a better room.

Stayed here 4 times for professional reasons. I would have preferred a different hotel but no choice.. Room was generally clean, linens were clean and fresh. In all 4 different rooms carpets were dirty, furniture was tired and abused worn out, every bar fridge was noisy and i had to relevel them , had to get one replaced, every lamp shade was broken or crooked or lamp was broken..nParking was a hassle if they are full, even if your room comes with it.. Had to park in the Bell Tower at 28$ per night. Elevator to parking was shut down.nExplained this to the front desk staff but they didn't really care, not part of their job..nFor a major chain hotel and being right downtown, you would expect better..nWill I stay here again. No!.nBe warned!

Beautiful hotel and rooms are so well kept. Staff are friendly and so helpful. Underground parking for an extra fee-super secure.nOnly downfall was the only coffee available on weekends were the ones in the room, it would be very nice to have a coffee station available to guests at the very least, considering there is no discount on breakfast to guests and no continental breakfast available.nBeds were so comfy and they offer a variety of pillow choices-so appreciated!nThe area is a little busy at all hours of the day, but it’s close to a lot of amenities. We went to a concert at Commonwealth and walked back to the hotel in a decent amount of time.nWould stay here again.

Great experience! Second time staying at this hotel. Maria checked us in and was a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly, warm and welcoming! Great pool and hot tub area, with options to have your room open to the pool deck. Definitely will be back. Thanks Maria, you’re awesome
