This is one of the largest VV's in town. Nonetheless, it is well organized and clearly laid out. Good content and prices are generally better than the other sites in Ottawa.

I found the greatest handknit piece for $5. A crop top sweater I wear every night at work to keep me warm. Someone took the time to create it and I love it. It's in off white wool blend yarn with cables in the pattern. And I found a leather belt, quite new and thick for $6.

This is one of the more expensive value villages in the city.nWhy are you selling curtains panel sets individually at 7.99 each. And why are you selling sheet sets and duvet cover sets individually. A duvet cover for 24.99 and each pillow case 7.99. This is robbery! I could go to Walmart and get it new for that price..nI use to love value village, but lately it's seems all they want to do is make big profits off donations. And dont get me started on self checkout. They have all the cashes closed, but there is a person standing at each self checkout booth watching people scan their items.... so 4 people watching the 4 self checkout booths... make it make sense!! If you are worried about people stealing your free donations, open the cashes and eliminate the self checkout!nIm sure I'm not the only who feels this way.nnYou can keep your $7.99 mug!
