Braids always come out looking amazing, Margret takes her time and does a very good job while also using many great products. The salon is clean and in good condition and never seems to disappoint. I would recommend going here and asking for Margret.

Do not go unless you have a specific hairdresser there. Don’t just allow any of the girls to do your hair. They are untrained and unprofessional.. magie she’s really good but she’s was taking like a 3 week vacation when I needed my hair done so I I went to a lady that I see there all the time. I got a simple silk press. Why does it look like she just blew dried my hair.. super frizzy…no shine. She also put no heat protection on my hair and she went over my hair with a flat iron and an blow dryer.. I can see the damage she caused to my hair. She then tried to charge me $20 extra from the salons price of $65. When I said no and I told her all my concerns and asked if she could fix it she. Got all upset . We settled on $75 I left absolutely in tears. I went back in. They said to come back the next day and they will fix it for me.nI live in Manotick and had work. I told them I was not available then and if I could wait until magie would be back cause she was coming back in a couple of days. they said yes. I’ve been trying to get In contact with both her and then store she answered me once and she said okay she was going to ask the other lady what happened. And call me back. That was over a week ago and I haven’t heard anything.. on top of all that not only did i book my appointment for 2 but I showed up at 1;45. Tell me why at 2 instead of sitting me she sat another lady and started the whole relaxing process. So my appointment didn’t start until 2:45. Rushing and damaging my hair because she didn’t have time management and couldn’t get criticism.. because I even asked her to put heat protector in my hair cause the heat will damage my hair. Unprofessional and untrained

I have been buying clip in extensions here for years, and am always really impressed with the selection of hair, and the quality. The reviews about the customer service are accurate..but the meaner ladies always get THE best colour match so I keep coming back.nnToday i was surprised to be helped by a very friendly woman, however the hair I purchased doesn’t match AT ALL! she talked me out of the colour I originally chose that would have been a perfect match. I have always had reliable colour matching here so trusted she would know best, but I should have listened to my gut

The customer is not valued. They act as if they are rendering customers' help. The customer pays for service and should be held in high esteem. Sadly, Africans don't know it. They do not respect their fellow Africans but whites, hair is also not done well for guys, 4 days after and your hair is apart as if you never did it. Don't know if it is their way of wanting you back there in no time

I used to get my hair braided from awa years ago, and it was really good. Now I have dreads, and she does my re twist with a design and always looks good. Definitely recommend using awa
