I love Michael’s craft supplies and I always go back since I am big into crafting especially crocheting and knitting. I buy lots of yarn for my projects. I am willing to pay more to have good quality materials and I am taking some of my time to travel a bit more than half an hour to get there. I am very disappointed tho when I buy items that are on the expensive side and don’t get supplies that reflect the price I paid for. I expect my materials to be good quality and lasting but I bought yarn and I tried crocheting with it without any success. It is FULL of knots. I’ve been trying to undo the knots for several hours and it’s still not over. I also got a bulkier yarn ball. I started knitting with it and the yarn broke while I was knitting it. I am not gonna throw my money and time outta the door to get yarn that isn’t worth crap. You sell items that not every craft store carry but I’m seriously rethinking of where I should shop for crafts accessories now that I had a few bad experiences. Good variety but bad quality. Yarn sold at Value Village and other second hand stores are better than that, without knots and more trust worthy. It is ridiculous when you think about it. I am a good customer of yours and unfortunately if the products are lower in quality, good customers won’t encourage that business anymore. I hope my review will be reviewed and taking in consideration by a manager cuz seriously if nothing gets done about it, I won’t be returning too often to Michael’s unfortunately. I had bought 6 skeins of yarn for a dress that I made for my adult daughter.nI only used 1 3/4 skeins. I had called and asked if I could return the other 4. To my surprise, I was able to. As long as it was within 60 days and with my receipt.

I bought a clothing item on sale and went back to change colours and was told the sale had finished and would have to pay full price. What??? Is that legal? I plan to contact Consumer Protection to complain. Am I right to think this is not right? I don’t plan to return anytime soon. Just found out it’s an American company. Shop Canadian if you can.

I need to point out a manager by the name of Ashe’s & love for this game. Let this place earn your business; it won’t take long. nnTheir name is Ashe, and I need to compliment your Dedication to excellence, you REALLY went ABOVE and past what even beyond can reach; to help. Past general stuff, is truly an artist herself!nnCustomer service is top shelf at this location, not enough stars. Unlike the alternate location Ashe took the time to actually poke and prod about specific needs and why I was asking about certain things, to understand where I was coming from and what I wanted to achieve. IMO, customer service here comes second to nothing, they don’t feel successful until you are satisfied & educated.nnDo yourself a favor and Come to this location, the other place had a chance to lay a positive impression. This did not happen. Ashe’s team is awesome here. Eager to assist and help with whatever they can, actually stand behind what they sell and are extremely willing to work with you: not against you. Throwing company policy in your face is likely one of the LAST methods of de-escalation to be used. Their skills are in it to win it, because if you succeed then they succeed.nnAttitude is genuine, they are Truly here and work to earn your business. You really get the feeling that they want to be here, that they really do want to help & earning their paychecks are just part of the reward for coming to work every day.nnI would LOVE to say My opinion is unbiased; due to the extent of what I will do for any of my clients; my level of achieving satisfaction is upon convincing certain customers from wanting to quit all services to demanding I be the only one come the customer will now re-arrange their schedules to have me arrive.nnHaving this essence of confidence and radiating energy; such as to that you’ll be taken care of. This is exactly the type of service I continue to ritually receive here. All the employees at face value, are positive and happy to be there. Even when I shownUp at 5 minutes to close, lol. Sorry again not any change in attitude or behavior. Kind reminders they’re closed in 30 seconds albeit genuinely without pressure & offer to assist, super kind. Just over all exceptionally impressed with them.nnJust take the trip. My experience between other locations & this is simply incomparable.nnYou won’t regret it!!!! Unless you do, than I cannot help there.

Staff at this location are a godsend! I messed up the date when I booked my child's birthday party and the manager here saved the day by accommodating us and making it happen despite MY error. The party in itself was excellent, the staff member who ran our session was extremely patient and kind with our group of 5-6 year olds. The kids had a blast making their crafts and we really enjoyed the space to complete the party. Highly recommend not only a party, but the staff at the Trinity Crossings location. Thank you soooo much!
