Jollibee

I absolutely love the chicken at Jollibee! Their spicy chicken is perfectly crispy and flavorful. They served my favorite drink, pineapple juice, which complemented the meal perfectly. The sauce they provide is awesome and adds an extra kick to the already delicious chicken. The view is also fantastic you can see Mount Pleasant and downtown from the restaurant. The service was fast and friendly, making the overall experience delightful. I highly recommend Jollibee to anyone craving tasty, well cooked chicken and refreshing drinks.

Tried Jolibee in Vancouver for the first time. The Broadway branch have a lot of seating area inside and few outside.nThe staff were nice and the service was quick.nI ordered the 2 pcs chicken with mashed potato side. I had one regular and one spicy.nThe first thing I noticed, the chicken pieces was quite small.nThe chicken was crunchy as expected for a deep fried chicken. It was also moist, but I find it lacking in flavor. The regular one is a bit bland, the spicy one is better. I can taste some heat but also lacking in flavor.nI did not like the mashed potato, jt was smooth n it same problem as the chicken, it was bland.nThe gravy taste good :nOverall, it was ok but I prefer Popeyes chicken. It was good to try though.

First time trying it and it was disappointing. I ordered through DoorDash. It felt overhyped, like Popeyes. While the skin was crisp, it seemed like the oil was old—fresh oil usually results in a lighter color. The herb taste of the skin wasn’t to my liking, though others might enjoy it. The mashed potatoes tasted like powdered ones, the gravy was nothing special, and the fries were super greasy and soft probably due to delivery. I’m glad I satisfied my curiosity, but I won’t be ordering again. I prefer Church’s when they used fresh oil and Shawn’s Chicken in Richmond which uses fresh, not frozen, chicken. Overall, $50 of disappointment.nnI gave 5 stars for service and atmosphere because I used delivery but the food itself only 2 stars. I did felt like puking after having the mash potatoes and discarded all the left over. It was disgusting.

We ordered two dishes: the Jolly Spaghetti and a chicken sandwich with bacon. The Jolly Spaghetti had sausage pieces and ground beef, which was nice and tasty. However, the sauce was sweet for our taste. If you prefer sweet spaghetti, you'll enjoy it, but I probably won't order it again. Don't get me wrong—it was delicious, it's just a matter of sweetness.nnThe chicken sandwich with bacon was a new item on their menu and it was a nice and juicy chicken burger. I definitely recommend this one. This was my first time trying this place and I really enjoyed it, especially compared to other chain restaurants. Next time, I probably want to try the steak. Currently, it's a 5/5 considering everything.

I normally don't give bad reviews, but there were several shortcomings. I ordered a 2 burger combo with a Jolli spaghetti upgrade. The burger steak was cold at about 24C which surprised me because burgers are terrible with cold fat. It was promptly replaced but I discovered the problem, the gravy was cold and it was cooling the burgers. Luckily the replacement burger steaks were hot enough to warm the gravy. Considering the premium prices for the quantity served, I expected better. The Pancit palabok skimped on the toppings and egg.
