We ordered two dishes: the Jolly Spaghetti and a chicken sandwich with bacon. The Jolly Spaghetti had sausage pieces and ground beef, which was nice and tasty. However, the sauce was sweet for our taste. If you prefer sweet spaghetti, you'll enjoy it, but I probably won't order it again. Don't get me wrong—it was delicious, it's just a matter of sweetness.nnThe chicken sandwich with bacon was a new item on their menu and it was a nice and juicy chicken burger. I definitely recommend this one. This was my first time trying this place and I really enjoyed it, especially compared to other chain restaurants. Next time, I probably want to try the steak. Currently, it's a 5/5 considering everything.
So far every time I've gone through food has been fantastic. They people at thr counter are extremely happy and friendly. They have a great patio that look over the busy intersection of Granville and Cambie. Very fair pricing. 14$ for my meal with an added pie!!!
Be careful of seagulls! I found an outdoor seat and sat down. Just as I was putting the food in and filling it with Coca-Cola, the waiter at the counter ran to my seat and chased something away It turned out to be a seagull taking my fried chicken out of the box. I had already I was so shocked that I couldn't speak. The waiter gave me new fried chicken, which was delicious and juicy. I praised the considerate waiter and his high quality.
3.5 stars rounded up.nnCrispy outer coating and very tender insides, for both drums and thighs. I can see why it's considered one of the better fried chicken places in Vancouver. While it's not my absolute #1, I still prefers here over KFC and Church's Chicken.nnBut the spicy chickens aren't exactly spicy at all; only has a mild spice if I were to stop and think about it. Wish the chicken itself was more flavourful. But of course the gravy more than made up for the flavours, and I like that almost fruity ? taste that I can't quite put my fingers on. Very unique and I would say the gravy was the highlight for sure.nnFriendly staff at the counters when ordering and getting your orders. Sitting area was clean and modern.
Famous fried chicken Philippines style. The chicken coating was very crispy and the drum stick meat was particularly juicy. The round tables for 2 are way too small for all your food. It's a fairly busy restaurant so more seating would be great. #friedchicken
