Coast Coal Harbour Hotel by APA

I enjoyed my stay very much, the spaces I accessed, including my room were exceptionally clean and that is very appreciated. The amenities were well thought out and easy to use, it was nice to have a mini fridge to store some snacks.nI don't often sleep well away from home, but the bed was clean and comfortable enough that I woke up feeling rested. I appreciated the ability to adhere the window coverings to the wall to block outside light.nThe event that I attended in the conference room was well executed with the help of the Coast staff, and the food was excellent.

I loved my stay. Unfortunately I could only stay 1 night as I was going on an Alaskan cruise the next day. However the coastal hotel was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Lovely clean massive room. Amazing bidet/ toilet which I have never seen before. Well only on the t.v. Comfy very large bed. Amazing pillows. Staff very friendly.

Stayed in so many hotels and for 505$/ one night , this is definitely a 3 star hotel.nWasn’t aware that you had no option but to valet your car & had troubles trying to contact the front desk to get them to bring my vehicle up , vending machines are old and one of them didn’t dispense my drink, sink had mold under the edge, furniture is scratched up and well used, sheets and linen have definitely seen some use. complimentary items that are included in 75% of hotels were not there.nnThe lobby is nice , the pool is nice , the staff were nice & the hotel is in a great location.nnNormally I wouldn’t leave an upsetting review but for 500$+ one night you should expect to get the most out of your stay.nnGood for one night but if your staying a few days then it’s the same price as a all inclusive Mexico trip

Guest service were not friendly or welcoming.nWe prepaid for the room in advance, it was stated no refunds. My mistake was thinking no refunds if we cancelled and was willing to take that chance. The website showed a summer special that would have saved us $100. The same website also states price matching for other hotels of the same quality. I would have thought this applied to their own hotel. I was told that since we prepaid we did not qualify for the price match. The two individuals behind the desk presented this in a way that made me feel awkward for even asking. I feel that is a very petty stance for a hotel to take and not an attitude that would make me a repeat customer.

Overall I like the place and enjoy the overall stay. I think the staff were all mostly nice the valet staff was a little pushy so that was annoying. Also feel the rooms are just a bed and one work table it kinda feels empty to be in the hotel room there is nothing in it really.
