So disappointed, I had made a reservation that was unable to keep due to weather conditions and the hotel would not even help to switch my stay to a different date. This lack of customer service has made us clear to me that they are not interested in quality customer service

UPDATAdarsh Bachhal - General Manager This employee has show true compassion in an event that took place at the hotel. They deserve some recognition to the truly valiant effort they make in providing upstanding customer service. Hospitality at its finest the only shame its behind a desk. This is a true spokes person that upholds what Coast Hotels should strive for. If you had even a fraction of her enthusiasm embed into the rest of the staff the results would limitless. We believe she has shown true concern and made amends in every way possible. Amazing only begins to describe this truly exceptional individual.

Coast Hotels are owned by an anti-Semitic Japanese nationalist who has repeatedly come under fire for anti-Semitic literature and nationalist propaganda. In Japan, they have a book in all the rooms proclaiming Japan did nothing wrong during WWII. Please boycott Coast Hotels.

The Coast Coal Harbour Hotel is coming to downtown Vancouver in January 2010. The building is coming along very nicely, and will consist of 220 bright and modern rooms, eight meeting rooms covering over 8,000 square feet and a full health club. Prestons, a new and innovative fusion cuisine restaurant will also be opening there and offering three meals and also providing the hotel's room service. It is going to be one of the places to be seen in downtown Vancouver!

I stayed in this hotel on buisness as I had a conference in the building. From the time I arrived the staff were friendly and helpfull. When I arrived at my room I found it to be very spacious with an area to watch T.V. on the couch opposite to the Queen size bed. The room was clean and came with a full size fridge and kitchenette. The hotel could use a bit of a facelift as the decor dates the hotel. The pub in the hotel was medeocre and would not likely survive without the hotel above it. The worst part of the stay would be when it is windy it sounded like a volleyball was being thrown at the outside of my room every 15 seconds. The best part of the hotel would be the outstanding views from the top floor where we had book a private party.
