We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Waterfront. So many of the staff were honest and genuine in their level of service. Blake, who is one of the servers in ARC was professional and haa great sense of humour and was so efficient. He remembered what we were drinking from the night before; wonderful man. The chambermaid not only knew our name, but thanked us for staying at the hotel. Truly professional. We are members at several private clubs and the level of service that we received at the Fairmont waterfront was equal to that of the private clubs. Very well done.
This is absolutely not a property. It’s showing it’s age in ways big and small. The staff is very attentive and friendly however, the rooms are nothing special, the bathrooms need serious updating, the exterior appearance is underwhelming, and one must pay too much for any amenity. The manager said our issues were understandable and so we were let out of the remainder of our reservation. For the price, this hotel absolutely is not worth it.
We stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront for 2 nights before our cruise. Can safely say that the hotel far exceeded our expectations. Our room was a harbour view, spacious with really comfy beds. Toiletries provided were amazing. Breakfast was included, was buffet style with lots of choice and as many extra dishes you could manage and everything was delicious.nPerfect stay, we even returned for a breakfast when we disembarked, it was that good.
This Fairmont is conveniently located directly across from the Vancouver port. You can just walk your luggage directly to the hotel getting off the ship for staying the night before or after your cruise. They have a beautiful swimming pool as well as an apiary Honey bee habitat on one of their rooftop. They also have the ARC restaurant on the main level which is very popular and has a pretty good breakfast buffet. The beds are very comfortable and plush and the bathroom is clean.
One of my favourite Fairmonts I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. I loved their outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spacious, and the staff was friendly. It’s also in a great location, close to some of the best spots and my favourite coffee shops. I honestly can't say anything bad about this place. We even loved the mattress and pillows. I can’t wait to go back.
