The room was nice and clean with a great view over the waterfront at extra cost. The service was excellent. Breakfast also very enjoyable. Concierge stored our luggage safely after we already checked out. WiFi could be a bit more advanced. Location is great for exploring the city or quickly finding a restaurant for dinner.Rooms: 4/5
Spacious room and good view. Although we booked a city view room, we were given a room with a nice harbour view. No complaint! We also enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, and sauna. Receptionists were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great waterfront view. The staff was friendly and gave excellent customer service. The concierge helped us book the Hop On Hop Off bus pass we needed, and the stop for that was right across the street. We did have a problem with our shower becoming clogged the 2nd morning, but we were checking out so it wasn't an ongoing problem for us.
They emailed me a day after checking out to say they found a ski pass in our room and ask if we needed it. I’ve never had a hotel do this. Very good flow from the shower head Fine hotel Decent bar and restaurant Workout room was good Close to subway and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shopping Elevators are fast Nice staff - got the charges right for 2 rooms, breakfast, and food & beverage credit I was going to say “no complaints” and that the hotel was quiet, but: We did have an annoying false fire alarm one night. The scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet weren’t great.
Super friendly staff. This is a great place to stay in a nice hotel. It's due for a little sprucing up in the rooms. Counter tops and some other areas are showing wear and tear. I'm really being a little picky here but it's a Fairmont so they should be held to a very high standard. Great job overall.Rooms: 4/5
The hotel itself is gorgeous, the location is great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The complementary coffee in the room was very good. Reasons I’m giving it 4/5 stars: bed was lumpy and pillows were thin, my room was not well insulated so I was cold at night and I could hear people in the hallway/elevators, it seems like mini fridges are no longer standard in nice hotels you are charged $20 if you remove anything from the one in the minibar, the restaurant and bar were very very expensive. Although I had a good time, I would probably look into the Pan Pacific next door as I felt the Fairmont Waterfront fell short of my expectations for the price.
This hotel is much better than another Fairmont rim near here. I have lived in the Pan Pacific, Fairmont Rim and this hotel and I would say this one is the best although the Rim is more expensive. Most staffs in hotels near coal harbor will NOT give you the kind of service you expected from high star hotel but this hotel does. The gym is great and the swimming pool is in great temperature.
I always enjoy a stay at the Fairmont. This room was nice and clean. The entertainment value of the room still lacks. I wish the more rooms would update their connection value to streaming content via phone or computer. Otherwise great food and drinks!Rooms: 4/5
Had a fantastic stay at the fairmont waterfront, upgraded to a corner room with double exposure which was really beautiful and had spectacular views. Service was great, the products are really high end and we really enjoyed the pool as well. They do have bikes to use for free for 2 hour slots, but be sure to book in advance as they book up, they didn’t tell us about the bikes or reserving them when we checked in so unfortunately we didn’t get to use them.
The service was Amazing. The rooms are fantastic and the location is incredible. However something that made a negative impact was the fact that this hotel will charge you to remove the items in the fridge $20 if you wanted to put your own items in there as a restocking fee. If you take anything from the fridge , you’re automatically charged for that item- including water. Water should be free, regardless of how high status your franchise is. This left a very bad taste in my mouth. If im paying $500+ for a room, I want free bottled water.
