I arrived at the counter to check in as usual, only to realize that I may have inadvertently failed to make my booking for the St. Paul’s CME this year. This was quite shocking, as I have consistently stayed here for the conference for the past 11 years, except during the pandemic.nnThe staff member was incredibly helpful and she involved the manager, who was gracious enough to provide me with a room and even offered one with a view of my choice. I truly cannot express enough gratitude for such kindness and exceptional service.nnI sincerely appreciate the excellent service.
I really enjoyed the view into the harbour and found the service to be excellent. The room and amenities were great especially the shower - top notch. The gym was great both in size and available equipment as it has a decent change/locker room, free weights, several treadmills, elliptical, etc. The only downside for my stay was there appeared to be some issues with one of the elevators and so the remaining 3 were unable to keep up with the demand often waiting 10-20 minutes for an elevator to get to the 10th floor. I used the stairs a few times down which was ok but not ideal.
We were very impressed with the decor and how fancy the rooms felt. We had a great view of the harbor, but did specifically pay extra for it. It was a little strange not to have a mini fridge in the room.nThe real outstanding part of the experience was the service - everyone we encountered made us feel like VIP. Especially Leo who was working at the front desk when we had a small incident in the room. He made us feel like our concerns were his most urgent concern and he chased down a solution for us and followed up the next day via text to make sure all was resolved.
We've been trying out several of the Fairmonts in Vancouver and do love this one. We found the gold lounge & service which to be best among the 3 Fairmonts in Vancouver. The breakfast food selection was more diverse than the other 2 hotels.nLoved our harbour view room with the expansive windows. Arc restaurant served the best steak my husband ever had, tho their green salad was only lettuce, not even a slice of tomato. Overall, topnotch in every way.
This is an awesome hotel and staff! Everyone is friendly and polite. From the front desk checking in, made them aware of our needs. They tried their best to accommodate us. The rooms are large and clean and so are the bathrooms and towels. We used valet parking and that worked out well for us. They provided us with a microwave on request, with a small fee.We will definitely come back to this hotel!
