I would say this hotel is worth $100-$150/night. If you find that price point I suspect you will be fine with what you get.nnThe good:n- Rooms are fairly clean and quietn- The restaurant is decent and you may get a coupon to use.n- The gym is huge.n- The pool looks nice but was murky and a bit cold. I swam anyways so hopefully it was fine.n- good shower and water pressure in the room.n- beds are fairly comfortable and sheets are soft. Beds might be too soft for some but I was fine.n- location is close to all the downtown and coal harbour things without being in a loud location.nnCould use improvement:n- it’s an older hotel so the halls and doors just feel a bit dated.n- The room smelled a bit musty on entry.n- The hot tub was not very hot and the jets were out of service.n- overall rooms are quiet but you can hear when the room next to you gets serviced and there were some jarring sounds that can catch you off guard as you are drifting off, I assume from the climate control every so often it sounded like someone was opening a bottle of pop.n- shower head and water pressure are good but the bath is a bit shallow and not that it matters but the shower tiling was poorly done.
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff stood out for their professionalism and friendliness—they were always ready to help with a smile. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around. A very pleasant stay overall.
The room was nice and well supplied and the beds were comfy. We had breakfast this morning in the bistro restaurant. My daughter and I both ordered the Brioche French Toast. I asked for extra syrup which was brought to me promptly. It’s a good thing I did because the French Toast was as dry as a bone. It must have been flashed dipped in egg because there was hardly any sign that it had been dipped at all. The egg mixture is what makes it moist. However, the service was very good. I left an 18% tip but it’s only because the staff was good. At $58 including a tip that French Toast should have been way better.
I’m giving Pinnacle Hotel a solid 4/5 stars. The service was excellent. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and well-kept, with nice amenities that made our visit enjoyable.nnThe main drawback for us was the location. While the area is quiet and scenic, it wasn’t very convenient since we had to take a ferry to downtown Vancouver to get to most of the exciting spots and activities. It added extra travel time that we hadn’t expected.nnOverall, though, the great service and pleasant atmosphere made it a worthwhile stay, even with the location challenges.
I am genuinely looking forward to my upcoming stay at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, as the property looks fantastic. However, the pre-arrival experience has been a bit disappointing.n​I’ve had some challenges during the booking process, specifically regarding communication. It feels as though my emails aren't being read in full before a reply is sent, leading to back-and-forth that could have been avoided with a bit more attention to detail.n​I’m hoping this is just a minor hiccup and that the on-site experience will live up to the hotel's reputation. I will be sure to update this review and my rating after my visit, hopefully to a full five stars if the service on-property makes up for the initial administrative hurdles!
