Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver

I checked in today after a long drive and was so thrilled to be treated so courteously, efficiently and with such friendliness by Cesar. He handled the check in such an amazing way, all my stress from the drive just melted away. He made me feel so at home, and even provided an upgrade to the nicest room we’ve ever had!! I can’t recommend this place and the wonderful service enough!!nThe reception staff are always kind and efficient, but this experience was the best ever!! Thanks Cesar and all the test of the team!!

I would give it a five star, but the price is just too costly. I don’t understand the justification on $400 average/night plus parking. It’s a fairly nice hotel, yes, but the cost is equivalent to a round-trip flight to a vacation destination in US or Mexico. I’ve stayed at equivalent hotels for much less, with a better gym for that matter, but if you can afford it…it’s a nice hotel and good location. The Italian kitchen restaurant, which is my absolute favourite, is right across the street which is a huge bonus for me. Vancouver is getting out of hand in my opinion.

This lovely king suite was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the clean and convenient kitchen and bath. The suite had a real home feel. The staff were very friendly, parking was super easy and everything else you might need is a short walk from your room. After a busy week in Whistler, our 2 days at the Sutton was a real treat.

A huge thank you to Diandra, Geoff, & Miguel at the concierge desk for making my stay fantastic! They were always ready with great recommendations on what to do during my trip and made sure everything was perfect!nnMy view from the 19th floor was amazing and I got the best sleep! I don't know what type of mattresses you use, but they are really comfortable.

N/a -- N/A -- The windows in the room were so dirty on the outside that we couldn’t even enjoy the view. The living room window was filthy, covered in kid hand prints on the inside. The bedside table had someone’s earring from the previous stay along with cup/glass rings so it was obvious it was never cleaned after previous guests. Our stay was great but the cleanliness was not.
