Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Located a short downhill walk to the bustling waterfront and numerous restaurants the hotel features newly renovated rooms and the best and friendliest service in town. The staff somehow remembers our names even though we only visit once a year. Hyatt somehow manages to attract and retain top notch staff that always greats us with a smile and genuinely welcomes us to the hotel wether they are at the front door & desk, bell stand, or a room attendant in a hallway.nnFood at the hotel starts with an extensive breakfast buffet, and continues with all day dining in the popular bar and separate restaurant if u prefer a quieter dining experience. Improbably they produce both a good burger and a great pizza out of the same kitchen.nnThe Hyatt Regency is a lovely hotel that will pamper you in the heart of town, provide a great home base for exploring the city, and provides a good massage when you are done walking the town.

Excellent First Experience at Hyatt Regency VancouvernnAs a Lifetime Globalist, this was my first stay at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, and I was thoroughly impressed. While suites were unavailable due to ongoing renovations, the experience more than made up for it.nnThe standout highlight was the breakfast service in the restaurant – the custom omelet bar was an unexpected delight that started each morning perfectly. The staff throughout the property were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed.nnPractical details matter, and I was pleased with how efficiently the elevators operated, even with my room in the 30s. The complimentary Starbucks voucher for the lobby café was a thoughtful touch that I appreciated during my stay.nnLooking forward to returning once the renovations are complete!

Really enjoyed our stay here at the Vancouver Hyatt Regency. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and gave us the lay of the land.nnIt was very easy to get the train direct from the YVR downtown and it was just a few short blocks to the property.nnWe utilized the access rental car which was wicked convenient to get online and they were helpful and again it’s right in the lobby and was well worth it considering parking rates around the area.nnWe made reservations for a spa treatment to all just outside the lobby but they were very professional and reasonably priced for an hour massage I think we paid $120 Canadian.nnThe pool and hot-tub were very clean and open. It’s located on the fourth floor with the gym. One note as well that the ice is all located on this floor and not on any others.nnWe had lunch and dinner on the property and we really enjoyed the lunch special that is geared for business folk but we found it to be perfect for us as travelers.nnThanks so much we will definitely be back!

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights; it was great! The hotel location was close to restaurants, stores, close to the office building that we had a meeting, and it was within walking distance to Stanley Park. The food at the hotel’s restaurants/lounge was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our room was a nice size e.g. large enough to have the beds away from the hallway, shower had nice water pressure, nice towels, etc.

This hotel is well situated in the heart of Vancouver. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and everything is just a short walk away water front, Gastown, restaurants, etc..nTheir beds are cushy and their facility is clean. They are dog friendly. There is an additional fee, but they provide a basic dog bed and bowls. The only pet peeve lol is that they don't have a pet relief area. The closest spot of grass is across the street. You cannot leave your dog in the room by themselves!nThey do charge for parking and, if you drive an electric car, they have electric charging spots but the charging ports are managed by an outside company and therefore you will have to pay additional to charge your car.nThe entrance to the parking garage faces north-east towards Melville St.nThe closest subway station is just adjacent to the hotel.nOverall: I would stay again.
