We had a nice stay here on our anniversary after traveling to Whistler. The hotel very kindly and generously gifted us with champagne, sweet treats, and fruit. The shower stall was very small and it was next to a standard-sized tub. Not an issue, but not my favorite set up. However, we did have a nice view through some buildings of where the sea planes dock and the room was clean and comfortable. We were a few minutes' walk from seawall water walk, which was beautiful. The area felt safe.
As a platinum elite member we got the benefits of an upgraded room and lounge access. Loved the perks.nnThe location is ideal for being downtown and walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants.nnOur 25th floor room had a view of the waterfront and we enjoyed watching sea planes come and go.nnThe lounge has a nice buffet breakfast and happy hour snacks. The gym, pool, hot tub and sauna are bigger than most hotels. I suspect it’s partially due to the fact that the upper levels of the building and residential condos.nnAll good. I’d recommend it if you want to be in the heart of downtown waterfront.
The rooms are no larger than my teenagers room at home. The bathtub is so small. Why even have them? There is a huge window with outdated blinds in the bathroom.nThat’s not the worst part. The staff are ridiculous, unprofessional and rude. They talk down to their patrons and make the rules up as they go along. I was asked to pay a $1000 cash deposit for a room whose deposit was already paid for because according to the second employee “the deposit doesn’t cover parking or breakfast.” I flewnThankfully I knew what I was talking about and demanded to see the authorization form my company sent when they paid for the room knowing it would say right on it that the deposit was also covered by my company.nAnd the toilet in my room runs for about 15 minutes when you flush it.
Perfect stay. We selected the Marriott Pinnacle as our one night stay prior to our Cruise departure. My only regret was just booking for one night next time we hope to come early and stay longer. The Hotel’s location is perfect for visiting Vancouver. The staff was great; the room was great; the restaurant was great. Thank you…!
The view from my room is stunning. The hotel staff is top notch. The location is perfect. You can walk to all types of places. Canada Place and the convention center are very close. Some tours so pick ups and drops here as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
