I had booked a suite for my wedding weekend and the services here were impeccable. Anything we needed for getting ready was promptly brought to the room. Our bags we had a lot were delivered to and from room no issue. I also had a wedding mirror dropped off by my wedding coordinator and the front desk had it brought up to my room no issue.nOverall loved staying here and will definitely be back!!nThank you for making that wedding weekend for my husband and I!
We are currently staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim and, while the hotel itself is truly incredible – beautiful property, great location and overall a high-end experience – I’m extremely disappointed with one thing.nnDespite having already provided a credit card at check-in which the hotel has kept on file, as is standard in any 5-star property, we are being asked to pay for room service directly in the room instead of simply charging it to our account. For a hotel in this category, it is unbelievable that their administrative system is so poorly set up that they cannot properly handle room charges.nnIt doesn’t feel like a luxury experience to be chased for payment in the room when the hotel already holds a valid card. This is not what you expect from a property of this level and really undermines an otherwise fantastic stay.
We stayed at the Fairmont, Pacific Rim for almost a full week as part of a conference at the adjacent convention center. To say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay would be an understatement. The rooms were beautifully appointed, well stocked, with all little details, looked after from the umbrella in the closet and shoehorn and lint brush, to the delightful toiletries throughout the bathroom. The views of the harbour were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the planes land and takeoff every day. We were able to enjoy breakfast at the botanist, drinks in the lobby, lounge, coffee, and pastries at Giovanni, and gelato at Motoretta. We also enjoyed the nearby Christmas market. We will definitely be back and encourage our friends to go stay there too.
We had a great 5-night stay as a family of 3 with a 2 year old. Tremendous room, attentive service—couldn’t have asked for much more. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and we felt taken care of at all times. The location is great, in the middle of a hip area on the waterfront.nnOne note for improvement was that virtually the entire lobby is taken up by the lobby bar. There’s no quiet place to sit and work or meet with someone without being a patron of the bar. We tried to sit down with gelato from around the corner one time and were politely shooed away within seconds for having outside food. I took a few early morning work calls there, but that wouldn’t have worked during normal hours. I respect that the showy cars outside and buzzy bar are part of the hotel’s success, but some dedicated quiet space would be a welcome addition for some.
I loved everything about my 3 night stay at The Fairmont Pacific Rim! What a beautiful and well run hotel! Every person I interacted with at the hotel was so professional, so friendly and so accommodating. 10/10 for housekeeping and all of the staff that I didn't meet directly, but are obviously at the top of their game as well. Truly next level hospitality in every way. I felt totally valued as a customer and I even though staying here was a splurge for me, I felt like I got a great deal! From the complimentary car service to the excellent poolside service, I just loved everything about this place. I can't wait to go back!
