First opened in 1927, the Hotel Georgia, now known as Rosewood Hotel Georgia, came to be known as Vancouver's most historic & elegant retreat. When unveiled in 2011 the legendary property has been returned to its elegant stature at the heart of the city.

Story

Following its debut in the Roaring '20s, the legendary Hotel Georgia came to be known as Vancouver's most historic and elegant retreat. When it first welcomed guests in 1927, the hotel brought unheard of luxuries to the young city of Vancouver and Canada's West Coast. And it wasn't just the local society set that made the hotel the heart of Vancouver; Louis Armstrong, Ginger Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Laurence Olivier, the Rolling Stones and the Prince of Wales all added to the mystique of this irreplaceable piece of history.

Went for our third wedding reception at this venue. Nice open area, good food, good service staff, good valet service. I came with a baby, and wish there was a better area for changing. I used the family washroom, but it was a little tight on the granite counter. Otherwise it was a great experience, but I believe if you're hosting it's quite a bit pricey. But it's probably worth it.

This was definitely one of our best hotel experiences ever. The location is amazing, the hotel is beautiful, and we can't say enough positive things about the staff at the Hotel Georgia. The entire concierge team helped us before we got there by answering my overwhelming number of questions and securing reservations at some incredible restaurants. Then while we were there they checked on us and gave us some great recommendations for things to do and ways to see/explore Vancouver. They added a few nice touches throughout our stay that didn't cost them much but that had a major impact on my wife and me. Gerardo on the concierge team was fantastic and personable, and Luis at the front desk was always a joy to visit with and couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. These two really made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay and led us to some great spots in Vancouver. We will definitely be back to stay at this amazing place. Thanks to the entire team for a memorable stay in Vancouver!

The ballroom was huge and the design was great. The service during the event was impeccable. The only downside was the food as several items tasted weird and this was the opinion of most people that attended the event (more than a hundred people).

Everything about this hotel is as close to perfection as possible. From the rooms to the staff to the restaurants, attention has been shown to making everything beautiful and hospitable for the guest. Everyone who works here seems, justifiably proud of what they do and the setting they have created. Stay here and you can relax and will enjoy the experience.

Some sketchy people threw some jello cups into the pool and I saw in it. The jello tasted pretty funny but had a yellow tint to it so I don't know. Pretty great hotel and I can not wait until I go back again. I really recommend swimming with the jello cups. 10/10 would go again.
