First, let me say how awesome the staff here was! I was so pleased to have such great care during my stay. I had a special treat because I was there in celebration of something and it was such a welcoming gesture!nnMy room was CLEAN! I always go out and purchase cleaning supplies to make sure that my room is disinfected as well as clean as I keep my home and my cleaning sponge had not one spec of dirt or dust. Not off of ANY surface! That is such a relief.nnI had an issue with the ac and bathroom sink which maintenance was sent over and resolved in under an hour!nnThe hotel is in the BEST location and has high end luxury shopping if that is what you are looking for inside the hotel and outside as well. You can walk up the street 2 minutes to the Hyatt Regency take a free shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and there is easily accessible bus/ train transport in the area as well.nnThe ONLY improvement I would say is some upgrades should be completed - the carpet in my room was very old and worn and flared up my allergies in the evening which made it hard to sleep since I kept waking up to clear my sinuses. When I was out, I had no issues. It was only when I went back to my room. Hopefully the hotel will be updating that in all rooms soon. Thank you to everyone there I came in contact with who made my stay so welcoming!
I recently returned to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on Georgia Street after not visiting for about seven years, and it was an absolute pleasure to be back. I attended a conference hosted at the hotel, and the location could not have been more perfect.nnSituated right in the heart of downtown, the hotel is just steps away from Robson Street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It’s also a short walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Pacific Centre Mall, and the Waterfront/Coal Harbour area, all of which were wonderful to explore during my stay.nnThe service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent—warm, attentive, and professional. While the building itself is historic, the rooms and common areas are very clean and well maintained, which added to the charm of the overall experience.nnI did run into some issues with both the wired and wireless internet, and ultimately relied on my mobile data. However, everything else more than made up for that inconvenience. The food at the hotel is truly top notch, whether you’re grabbing breakfast or enjoying a full dining experience, the quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend dining on‑site.nnOverall, I was very pleased with my stay and would not hesitate to return. It’s a classic Vancouver hotel in a prime downtown location, well worth visiting again.
Fantastic guest relations and wonderful staff. They were warm, responsive, and kind. There were sweet touches for the kids that made the stay extra special. We had one hiccup and the staff response was overwhelmingly positive - above and beyond service. Bathrooms are a bit small but to be expected in a historic hotel. The gym had more equipment than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise! Fantastic location and was easily walkable to shopping, great food, and Gastown.
The building itself is getting a bit old and need some love. The light fixtures in the elevator could use some maintenance, same for the trims. The pool is in a rough shape but there is a sign that says that rénos are coming soon. The gym is great only 2 machines need maintenance: the chest press could use some WD-40 and the upright bike left pedal needs to be fixed. However the staff is absolutely amazing and the location is top notch so definitely 5 stars
We had such an amazing experience at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. As soon as we stepped in to check in, Darcy Le greeted us with wonderful hospitality. He was warm, professional, and very friendly.nnThe concierge team was also incredibly kind and helpful, making everything feel smooth and welcoming from the start.nnWe were especially impressed by the hotel’s complimentary car service — they dropped us off anywhere in the downtown area at no charge we happily tipped the driver. That thoughtful perk made our stay even more enjoyable.nnThe live piano music at the bar was top notch and created such a beautiful atmosphere. It made our 20th anniversary weekend getaway feel even more special and memorable.nnWe truly love
