Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, I did not want to leave. Very clean! A few small maintenance issues were handled quickly and efficiently. The highlight - our Saturday afternoon tour of the Hotel with David. What a joy to have someone so passionate about this glorious hotel show us around and give us the incredible history of this hotel. I can't wait to return.

The structure is impressive, the food at the restaurant is great and the downstairs brand shopping adds a luxury feel. However the furnishings of the place are just quite old at this point. The room is super spacious, comfy bed etc but the carpet really needs a refresher.nnSince the minibar is stocked up with paid items, they left info to request a mini fridge if needed, which we happily did. Didn't know you could request a microwave too though as I saw that being wheeled out of another room.nnOverall I would prefer a hotel with more updated furnishings at this price point but I don't know how the others are, being our first Vancouver trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and it truly felt like a special experience from start to finish.nnWe had valet parking prearranged, which made arriving in busy downtown Vancouver incredibly easy and stress-free. The valet team was fast, professional, and attentive, immediately asking if we needed help with bags or assistance getting settled.nnEvery concierge staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The service throughout the hotel consistently felt polished and warm.nCheck-in was quick and seamless. I really appreciated the smile and welcome acknowledging my Accor ALL membership. Our room was exceptionally quiet and very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My daughter and I both slept extremely well. The rainfall shower was another highlight and made the room feel extra luxurious.nnI also had a light breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and it was excellent. The service was fast and attentive, and the food was genuinely delicious and beautifully prepared.nnThis stay felt elegant, relaxing, and effortless. We’ll absolutely be back for another special getaway in Vancouver.

There are only two positive things I can say about my overpriced stay here:nLocation: It’s in the middle of everything - but it is also the downside. Parking is a pain. It can be noisy.nnStaff warning: The staff member who brought up our luggage warned us about the booby trap under the snacks and bottles. You can’t even touch them without tripping a sensor that charges you for the junk food you're just trying to move out of the way.nnBesides that, there is nothing special about this hotel. The rooms feel a bit small, and the beds aren't that comfortable. There's no mini-fridge they charge $25 a night just to bring one to your room, and it takes forever to cool down.nnOverall: 'meh' nnBetter alternative is to stay a bit away from the city center, and park your car at one of the garages throughout the day. You would get bigger rooms, probably better beds, no traps to charge you for random things you didn't even use, and less noise

What a dreamy stay at the Fairmont in downtown Vancouver! From check in to check out, every single staff member was so kind and welcoming, it really felt like they wanted us to have the best time.nnOur room was beautiful and spotless, super comfy bed and the loveliest view of the city. The location is perfect too, right in the heart of downtown so we could walk everywhere. Shopping, food, all just steps away!nnThe little touches are what made it special, the warm greetings, the attention to detail, the cosy elegant vibe throughout. Such a classy hotel with a real heart. We didn't want to leave! Already planning our next stay
