What a dreamy stay at the Fairmont in downtown Vancouver! From check in to check out, every single staff member was so kind and welcoming, it really felt like they wanted us to have the best time.nnOur room was beautiful and spotless, super comfy bed and the loveliest view of the city. The location is perfect too, right in the heart of downtown so we could walk everywhere. Shopping, food, all just steps away!nnThe little touches are what made it special, the warm greetings, the attention to detail, the cosy elegant vibe throughout. As Washingtonians who hadn’t visited “our neighbors to the north” since before COVID, we decided it was finally time for a trip to Vancouver. From the moment we made our reservation until the day we checked out, Hotel Vancouver exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail was truly impressive.nPrior to our arrival, we received an email inviting us to share our preferences and any special requests, such as parking needs or early check-in accommodations. It was a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for a personalized experience.nWe chose to book the Fairmont Gold accommodations, and I highly recommend doing so. The dedicated concierge team and private lounge elevated our stay significantly. The lounge included a complimentary breakfast, late afternoon hors d’oeuvres, evening treats, and an honor bar, all of which added to the experience. Upon check-in, we were greeted by Brennon, an exceptionally courteous and detail-oriented gentleman who made sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. When we mentioned that my wife had a massage scheduled at the hotel spa that afternoon, he even arranged a complimentary enhancement for her treatment. Brennon and the entire Gold-level staff were consummate professionals and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.nnWe look forward to returning soon and will absolutely stay again at “The Castle in the City.”

Firstly I have to say the staff were outstanding…the kindness and respect was first class. We had each one of them go over and above to make this holiday memorable. From arranging tours, tickets to giving my daughter a gift that was so special. A big shout out to Yuki, Tina, Bella and Melany….you guys made everyday so easy to enjoy and planned out a truly wonderful time here in Vancouver.nnWe had stayed in Fairmount Vancouver for a whole week for the FIFA World Cup. Location is perfect and central to everything. We are club members and had access to the lounge which offered delicious breakfast, afternoon scones to die for and evening canapés. The room was art deco and classical…bed and pillow perfect to get that good nights rest.nnWill highly recommended staying here and enjoying a family friendly atmosphere.nnThanks you Team….

We spent the last four nights of our incredible Rockies road trip at the stunning Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, having also stayed at the Fairmonts in Calgary, Banff and Jasper en route. The hotel is in a perfect location and truly breathtaking, but what really made our stay perfect was the people and the exceptional service they deliver.nThank you to Chloe for the warm welcome and helpful advice on arrival, and the kind offer of a Gold upgrade too, which made our stay truly special.nThank you also to Brennon and Bella for a very kind and warm welcome whenever we enjoyed the lounge facility, for your help in arranging local activities, for your consistent attention to detail, and for going above and beyond. You both made our holiday relaxed, memorable and perfect, and are an absolute credit to Fairmont and what it strives to deliver in terms of first class service. Please extend our thanks also to your wider team within the 9th floor lounge and the cleaning staff too, everyone we were in contact with looked after us beautifully. We felt very privileged to stay at your beautiful hotel and experience the unique opportunity of staying on the historic 14th floor. You all made our time with you exceptional. Thank you.

Check-in was smooth and efficient. Our room was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, I did not want to leave. Very clean! A few small maintenance issues were handled quickly and efficiently. The highlight - our Saturday afternoon tour of the Hotel with David. What a joy to have someone so passionate about this glorious hotel show us around and give us the incredible history of this hotel. I can't wait to return.
