Best Western Plus Gatineau-Ottawa

I had an amazing stay at Best Western Plus Gatineau-Ottawa Downtown, and the biggest reason was the outstanding service from Raef and Yousof,nnThey were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They didn’t treat me like just another guest—they treated me like family, and that made all the difference.nnRaef’s hospitality was exceptional. He genuinely cared about making my stay as enjoyable as possible, and his positive attitude made me feel welcome every day. Yousof was also fantastic and always willing to help with a smile.nnIf every hotel had staff like Raef and Yousof, traveling would be so much better. Thank you both for making my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel because of the incredible people who work there!

We stayed here two nights. What a gorgeous view. The room was clean and more than enough space for my little one to run around. The staff was spectacular. So friendly, incredible service & so helpful. The view was incredible. You can see the parliament from our room832 + the city. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Ottawa. I'm only rating this 2 stars because a 2 star review is harder to get rid of. I'm on a school farewell trip with friends and we're only staying here for one night praise the lord. As soon as we got into our room, it smelled really weird. It wasn't a good smell, it made us feel a little weird. Other students are here too, just in different rooms, and one of my friends had a random man just walk into his hotel room without knocking. Hotel cleaning service was poor, with stains on bed sheets and DAMP towels that we never used in the first place. Beds are incredibly tiny, most likely twin sized. The shower head is too low and the bathtub has questionable stains. There was a random trail of blood in our hallway and security had to get involved. We still don't know what or why it happened, and we were all left scared. Our lock does NOT work properly, so I put a chair in front of our door. We have nothing to protect ourselves with and we are all under 18. This place is dangerous. If you actually read all of this, please take my word and choose a different hotel. Please stay safe.

We stayed for 6 nights. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Great coffee machine in the lobby. Was a little bit of a maze to get to pool that didn't always have towels. Room had a balcony with an Amazing view of Parliament hill. My only gripe was that I think there was a issue moisture coming into the carpets. They always felt like they had just been washed. Im Not sure if it was from the air conditioner, or an upper floor.

Room was clean and tidy.nOnly one thing, we didn't know as this hotel has a breakfast area it wasn't included in the price therefore we didn't find any info about breakfast. But next time we will check what does this beautiful hotel have
