Excellent location! Walk to Parliament in less than 5 minutes. Clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant looked nice but I didn't eat there. Lots of great places to eat a short walk away. Staff very friendly.
Spent a lovely overnight here on a getaway with the BF and we will absolutely be back. Amazing service and so much warmth from front desk staff, pub staff, and the valets.nnVery cozy room, great cleanliness, QUIET as the grave, luxury amenities.nnPerfect location, near fantastic pubs, and shopping at Byward Market. One street's walk from the Parliament buildings and its beautiful architecture.nnOur one and only complaint was the pillows in our room -- rather like floppy sacks of grocery bags But that's the chain and not the staff. Otherwise, we have found our go to getaway spot anytime we're in Ottawa
I was in town for a volleyball tournament. I had booked 11 rooms through the Sheraton Hotel for 11 different families. Booking was smooth and easy. On the day of arrival we were able to check in without a problem. The parking garage is small in height and cannot accommodate most modern day SUV’s and Trucks. So we had to have the majority of the vehicles, parked offsite in a satellite parking lot through there valet parking. Because we booked so many rooms, they discounted the parking fee to $17 per night. This was very kind of them. Our biggest focus was making sure we had 11 vehicles ready to go first thing in the morning at 6:30 am.nnThey brought on additional staff to accommodate the demand. We were just one volleyball team among many others staying at this hotel. The first morning was a little hectic gathering the vehicles, but everybody got to their destination no problem on time. After the first day, they were very organized.nThe parking staff was very professional.nnThe rooms were very clean, and the cleaned daily. When we returned from our tournament each day, the room was already cleaned and ready to go.nnI want to say a special thank you to Pam. She went out of her way to ensure that everybody was pleased and happy with the overall service. She even offered her specialty homemade cookies. You can tell she cares about her job and wants everyone to have a smooth and relaxing stay.nnI would not hesitate to stay at the Sheridan Ottawa Hotel again. If anyone is looking to book a team grouping, I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is close to many attractions. Often we would just take a $7 Uber to most spots that we needed to go to. I would imagine in the summertime when the weather is warmer you can easily walk no problem.nnThank you to everybody.nViper Evolution Volleyball Team
I stayed at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel last month for 1 night for a work event in Ottawa. The staff were absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had an excellent stay from start to finish. Was a good experience at this hotel. Staff was exceptional. Especially the gentlemen at the front desk and the valet staff who let us know there is no charge in that location for street parking on weekends rather than paying for valet parking which we were willing to do but nice to save some dollars too. The room was clean and functional, and nothing stood out but acceptable.
