Andaz Ottawa Byward Market-a concept by Hyatt

I travel a lot all over the world. To be honest and fair Andaz was one of the rare places i felt at home and between my family. I have seen the best true smiles from the staff. I dealt direct with Amanda Kirchhof and she was really beyond expectations. I can't find any room for improvement. The hotel is on the top of my list. Thank you very much.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Check in was easy and we were offered complimentary glasses of wine upon arrival. When we arrived to our room we realized we had been upgraded and also welcomed with a handwritten note wishing us a happy anniversary along with a plate of macaroons and fresh berries & the offer of free coffee in the morning to help celebrate- so thoughtful!nnWe went to the keg across the street for dinner highly recommend you make a reservation as the wait time was quite long. We enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar of the hotel at the end of the night. The drinks are overpriced @$18 each for an old fashioned but the view is nice.nnHad breakfast downstairs at feast and revel, our server was lovely and very accommodating.nnWould recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice wknd getaway. Amazing customer service, great location 4/5 stars only because of the overpriced dining, parking & drinks.

We really wanted to love this hotel. We booked it for our wedding night as well as an additional night as we wanted to do our first look there.nnFront check in staff were lacking largely in customer service, there is no parking let alone valet, STAY AWAY

Bartender is talented but kitchen and service standards are lacking. These two factors need to find harmonize in order to achieve the success that would be commensurate with the costings on the menu and the projected finesse of the establishment. Staff returned my food without me asking because it was significantly off. I will provide more in depth commentary in my subsequent reviews, so that future patrons can obtain a clear picture of where the Andaz fits.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Andaz hotel and had an absolutely amazing stay! Ryan from the front desk definitely made this a very memorable stay for us. He was quick to make sure we had everything we needed at all times, and always delivered with a smile on his face! We got early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost. The room was very clean and filled with an assortment of free drinks at chips which we enjoyed very much. Our friends were able to come to our hotel and have drinks with us on the rooftop patio. The location of the hotel is great because we were in walking distance to pretty much everything! Overall we had a great stay, and will definitely be back in the future!
