Excellent staff, location, and rooms. Staff accommodated our request for a room with a view, as we had a little one with us. We had a great view of parliament, she loved it. The Starbucks downstairs was perfect for us in the morning. The pool was a huge hit, super clean and towels were well stocked. The only thing I'll mention is some of the arcade machines in the kid lounge didn't work and ate our money.
Fantastic location, it's a 20 minute walk to everything that matters.nnThe Starbucks downstairs is great.nnThe service was pretty good, we were able to check in early, I would say room service should get a cart or maybe something else instead of bursting into the room, we wanted food not so much an overly enthusiastic staff member in the room at 9 pm, would have strongly preferred to just have it left outside other than that no complaints.nnThe Hotel itself is very dated and severely needs a renovation, especially because it's so close to everything, outside of that it's a very nice place just feels ancient inside.nnThe front door is also terrible, a giant automatic rotating door that spun too quickly to feel safe entering it, had to walk very quickly with a heavy suitcase to get inside.nnThe lobby isn't great either, a short ramp for suitcases would have been nice.nnI'd probably come back given the price and vicinity to everything.
We had an excellent family trip to Ottawa. Enjoyed staying at Marriott hotel. The rooms, pool area, and the restaurant were all super clean the whole hotel was super clean Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. We wished there was a breakfast included or at least some sort of vouchers as we stayed for 5 days but overall was a very pleasant stay. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to change the lotions and shampoos. They had a super strong , unpleasant smell.
I loved their service and food. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was great. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool was a tiny bit cold but overall Ok. The playroom needs improvement. Location is fantastic and so was our view. Well go back
All the staff at this hotel are exceptional. I was here for two nights and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The location is great! There are a lot of choices of restaurants and it’s within walking distance to Parliament.
