Alt Hotel Ottawa

Loved this hotel!! We had great service at the front desk and we were able to check in early. Our room was so spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ottawa. Central to a lot of things and there is a cute coffee shop in the lobby. Would definitely look at staying at other hotels with the Le Germain chain if they are all this high quality.

This was a moderately fine hotel. The location is a good choice, however there is no parking associated with it. You have to use a public lot across the street.nThe water pressure is terrible and right outside our room were two buildings Air-conditioning systems, which ran all through the night.nThese things would all be fine and tolerable expect for the fact that it was still almost $300 for 1 night.

Not bad, the hotel is clean, the cafe on the main floor serves good coffee and the front desk staff is nice. However, the beds are way too soft, I barely slept every time I stayed at this hotel. Really uncomfortable, and the temperature control was also odd, having to turn on the ac in the middle of winter not to sweat through the sheets was weird.

Just WOW! I can’t rave more highly about our stay at Alt Hotel. We spent a night after visiting Spa Nordik for our anniversary. The staff put rose petals, wine and a handwritten card in our room for our arrival! Rooms are spotless and modern. Location is central downtown. Bar and coffee cafe downstairs in the lobby. What a great hotel!

I had a great stay at the Alt Hotel in Ottawa! Rooms were very clean, and there was shampoo, conditioner, and soap available with argan oil in it - the first time my hair hasn't protested hotel shampoos. The design of the rooms were very pretty with a very modern feel, and definitely well maintained. Beds were super comfy with lots of pillows, a great mattress, and very comfy linens and comforter.nnA cherry on top was a cafe in the lobby with Happy Goat coffee, lots of breakfast options and goodies which I could grab on my way out in the morning.nThere was also a bar and lounge area which was always buzzing in the evening and a great spot to socialize/decompress.nnThank you for a great stay and hope to be back soon!
