I recently bought a bike from West Point Cycles, and the staff are so friendly and helpful! I test rode several times over the summer before making my decision, no pressure or questions asked. When my bike arrived, Matt patiently answered all my questions and helped set up my bike. He even offered to lift my bike into the car which was very kind snow on the roads so couldn't ride!. They have a great bike shop for mechanical repairs/maintenance and are very fair with their prices. Highly recommend this store. It truly is a part of our community.
The guys at West Point were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient when I took my golf cart in for a new brake cable. They promised it would be completed within two days and it was done within one day …. and inexpensively too. I’ve been going to them for all my bike, and now golf cart!, repairs for years; and strongly suggest that you try them out too!
Staff here are so helpful. I don’t have much experience with bike shops. The Few other places I went to have never been helpful, they always made me feel less than cause I don’t have a fancy bike . But the staff at West Point were great they were so fantastic they walked me through everything gave me an accurate price. I won’t be taking my bike anywhere else.
Nice looking shop, but I’d only go here if you’re wealthy. Nothing in the store has prices on it. The staff were unwilling to help me find an affordable pair of gloves, so I ended up leaving. I was planning to buy a lock, gloves, and some tools but I’ll take my money somewhere else. Seriously, add prices to your store! You’re alienating customers who don’t have a lot of money.
Just had the best retail bicycle shop experience I’ve ever had in Vancouver - I wasn’t spending thousands of dollars and just needed a quick task done in the tech/repair shop. Matt took care of me on the spot and I will be directing all of my business to this shop from now on.
This bike shop is truly the best. My bike always feels like new after tune ups. I recently purchased a new bike from them and the customer service has been amazing. I have been in and out of the store many times over the past month to make small adjustments to the bike and the staff has been incredible helping me out throughout that process. They have been very committed to making sure my new bike fits me perfectly. Thanks West Point Cycles!
The folks at West Point Cycles are fantastic! They’re both knowledgeable and friendly. I live in Ontario and recently ordered a bike from them and the process couldn’t have gone smoother. They helped me pick out accessories over the phone and packed everything into a bike box so a family member could pick up my order on my behalf. Throughout the process, I asked a lot of questions and everyone I spoke with was patient and seemed genuinely happy to help. I only wish they had a shop closer to me so I could have access to them all of the time!
Just wanted to give big shout out to Matt! I called in to buy a pump because all dollar stores around were sold out in the area. I needed to pump my football and Matt offered to pump it up free of charge! Great help and even better service from Matt! Keep up the great work man!
I remember buying a Rocky Mountain bike from this place way way back when they were a Rocky dealer. It truly is a piece of history. Although I don't own any Trek bikes I have many friends that do though this is my shop for picking up consumables and parts for doing my own repairs/maintenance at home I used to go to Dizzy Cycles for tune ups because that's the shop that sold me my other bike. The staff are good, maybe not all super technical but they run a good shop and are helpful. I know 2 people that are still very happy with their Domane 4.3's and it's making me consider getting a Slash as my next bike because of the buying experience and customer service they got. The complimentary 1-2 month break in tune up is a good value added service especially for people that aren't technical and don't know what to do as their parts "settle in" dialing in cable adjustments and re-checking bolt/screw torques, etc.. Only complaint that I can really say is that booking for service can be tough during high season so you almost need to plan ahead a week or two when you think your bike is getting to the point of needing a deluxe tune up or complete overhaul.
I bought a bike and the staff promised it can be picked up in 5 days and will contact me when ready. But no one call after one week. I called them and they said will call back. But again, no one call back. End up I have to visit the store to ask for status. It took a total of three weeks before my bike is ready. They have too much business, visit other bike store that care of their customers instead.
