Westside Ski Bike Board

Went there with my girlfriend and ended up getting custom fitted boots and a pair of beautiful skis for her. We talked to Chris who was fabulous but honestly the whole atmosphere in the shop and between the employees is like you would expect it in a group of friends that love to ski. Chris really did take his time for us and considered all our wishes and tried to find what fits our budget best. His boot fitting expertise is probably second to none and gave me the feel of having the best boots possible. Would recommend 110% to anyone looking for true experts in the ski business. Prices are appropriate to the 5 star Service!

My girlfriend and I have bought bikes, skis and ski boots from Westside. Chris is always incredibly helpful and the rest of the team are also lovely. Great advice always, fantastic boot fitting service and very friendly - recommend!

We went into Westside Sports and looked for the entire sets for Snowboarding last year. The store was still on West Broadway by that time. A staff, Jakub was very helpful and got the gears for us. We bought our snowboards, shoes, bindings, and helmets there in that evening. The next morning, before we went there to pick up our gears, we went into other shops and found some better-looking helmets. We asked the other staff in Westside Sports to return the helmets that we bought last evening. This staff refused our proper request and stated a ridiculous reason, he said “all helmets sold in BC cannot be return for safety reason. This is the law.” Excuse me? Please don’t make me laugh. Well, I could understand small businesses are not happy with return in general. But did we look too naïve to fool? I could not imagine this staff could just made up a “law” easily. This was not a honest and ethical practice. We were in a deadlock in the store. That was not a good nor happy experience. At the end, our friendly Jakub helped us with the return.

Fantastic service and a great shop with great equipment. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly. This is the best place for bootfitting and their service is second to none. Easily my favourite ski shop in Vancouver.
