They have a nice selection of affordable city bikes. I have tried to like them for years because they support the bicycle community, but every time I've been in it's been a bad experience. I got a tune up here and the bike was barely any better; I took it back and they did fix it (replaced an old cable) but it was annoying to have to go back and should have been dealt with the first time. My partner and I have gone to them for flat fixes and the tubes have pinched within a few days. I went in looking for a rack for my folding bike and they were ignorant of how folding bikes work, even thought they sell them, and dismissive. They have a nice exterior presence and the free oil and air is nice, but for service and advice the staff I've dealt with don't seem to know what they're doing.

I arrived at closing time one dark and rainy night with brakes that were scary worn down, and they kept the shop open to replace the pads for me. Made for a much safer ride home - thanks for going above and beyond!

This is my local bike shop so I may be a bit biased but I love these guys! The staff are always super helpful and informative about bike care and maintenance. If you have a bicycle and you need any work done I highly recommend paying Reckless a visit!

I strongly recommend you to check out this store! Went to see others in the area, but I chose Reckless for my first bike. Maximillian showed me different options for what I was looking for and took the time to answer my different questions regarding the bike and safety measures. Ericka was also very personable and gave great service, making me feel welcomed :) Family-run business, over 30 years of presence in the city, run by experts, what more can you ask for? Will be back, for sure!

Sidewall on the tire blew while at Granville Island. I brought it in, they changed the inner tube and swapped on a used tire right away! Didn't have to wait at all. They even adjusted the front brake and lubed the chain at no extra charge! Great place! Thanks guys!
