My stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the stunning location perched right on the waterfront with sweeping views of the harbour, the North Shore mountains, and the iconic seaplanes gliding across the water. It’s the kind of setting that instantly makes you feel like you’re somewhere special.nnThe service was equally impressive. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay unforgettable. Whether it was the smooth check-in process, thoughtful recommendations, or the small gestures throughout my stay, I always felt incredibly well cared for.nnMy room was beautifully appointed, spotless, and perfectly comfortable. Waking up to panoramic views of the water was a highlight in itself. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the overall atmosphere of the room struck a perfect balance between luxury and relaxation.nnThe hotel’s amenities were also top-tier. Dining options on-site were excellent, offering fresh, high-quality dishes that showcased the best of the region. Even just spending time in the lobby or common areas felt like a treat, thanks to the gorgeous design and serene ambiance.nnWhether you're visiting Vancouver for business or leisure, the Pan Pacific offers an experience that feels both indulgent and welcoming. I left already planning my next visit. Absolutely amazing in every way.
Love this hotel! It's massive and luxuries. My daughter and I stayed for a night. The room was extremely clean and had crystal clear glass and silverware that were provided for wine as well as an in room coffee maker. The fridge was a nice size with fresh creamer ready to go for morning coffee. Loved the heated pool and the hot tub was very warm. They had the hot stone sauna ready and hot in the morning and this was a treat as many hotels don't normally have them. Our only complain was one of the elevators was out of service so it was a longer wait to get back and forth to our rooms. The view from our room was beautiful!!
We chose this hotel because of its waterfront pool and stunning views from the rooms. The hotel is spacious and has a convention center vibe, but it’s conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station. It offered a great value for our budget. Vancouver Island is relatively small and easy to explore, so the location doesn’t seem to be a major factor. However, I would only recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Vancouver. For those who are more familiar with the city, a smaller hotel might offer a more upscale atmosphere.
I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. For $500 a night, I expected a much better experience.nnTo start, my reservation was made under the wrong first name. When I asked the front desk to correct it, they said they did—but the mistake remained. Later, a staff member spoke to my 14-year-old nephew in a condescending way while he was calmly supervising his younger sister at the pool, which left him upset.nnThe rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, though the beds were a bit small for the price range. The pool area was a highlight—it was nicely heated with pleasant views.nnAfter checkout, I noticed an incorrect $28 breakfast charge on my invoice, even though I never went to the breakfast area. The staff removed it once I pointed it out, but if I hadn’t checked, I would have been overcharged.nnOverall, for the price, I expected a more professional and attentive experience. If you’re already spending around $500 per night including room tax and stuff, I’d recommend considering the Fairmont next door instead.
I would rate my experience as okay, but I am a little disappointed given the price. Parking seems like a premium in Vancouver bc, so it's a little annoying that it isn't included in the stay given the price.nnCheck in was very slow. The view is nice, but the beds are pretty firm. There was also construction noise I think they are remodeling a suite or something above us so we heard a jackhammer going starting around 8:30 AM. You can hear it in this video. So sleeping in is not really an option. The pool is outdoors and lukewarm so it is swimmable during the colder times of the year but the hot tub jets don't seem to work very well.nnThey have breakfast and evening snacks/dessert in their lounge but the selection is a little plain and not very extensive. While staying, I only saw maybe 2-3 other people in the lounge, which makes me think it's either the off-season or just not very popular.nnOverall, it feels like not much attention is given to the maintenance or improvement of amenities here and while the staff are very friendly and nice toward the guest experience, the value just doesn't feel worth it if I was looking to stay here or elsewhere again.
