The hotel was well situated relative to the cruise terminal. Restaurants were excellent. Rooms were less than great. As a couple, we would have preferred a King bed as opposed to two full size beds. Single sink in the washroom was cumbersome for a couple too. Really did not like the dirty rugs in the elevators. All in all, On but could have been better. Internet service OK
Wonderful 2 nights stay in this hotel. Incredible panoramic view on the waterfront. Very quiet, clean and spacious, great service. Absolutely loved the swimming pool and hot tub on a rooftop! Perfect location in downtown, walking distance to stores, coffee places and restaurants. Highly recommend for a stay in Vancouver.
The highlight of the hotel to me is it's heated outdoor rooftop salted water swimming pool. The bird sings and flies above, the mountains with snow cap can be seen, along with the beautiful blue sky. The hotel location by the harbor gives many of its rooms great view and privacy. The food is good, and the service is prompt.nnThings I would like to see improvement is its elevator. At the guest room level, the wait for an elevator often takes a while, much longer than I would expect. Bathroom can use additional hooks to hang clothes. Celsius and kg can be used more often.nnOverall, I had a great stay.
We spent some time over spring break at the Pan Pacific. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and courteous. The pool area was lovely and well equipped, the views were stunning. It felt safe and well organized. My daughters had a blast. I didn’t try the food in the hotel, but there are so many options just meters from the hotel itself. Would definitely stay again!
We chose to stay at the Pan Pacific for a pre-cruise stay due to its location...immediately adjacent to the cruise port, and they offer a service that will transfer your luggage from the hotel to the cruise ship; that service was fantastic and worked without issue.nnThe hotel is beautiful and well maintained; the service was attentive and professional, and it starts with bellman eagerly offering to help with your luggage upon arrival. We were weary from a long day of transcontinental travel, so we appreciated the efficiency of the check-in process; we were amazed to find we received an upgrade to a lovely waterfront room. Our only disappointment was that we arrived too late to have any meals or room service at the hotel.nnOur room had two queen beds, which comfortably accommodated 3 adults; the beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed a quiet rest. We opted for a continental breakfast by room service; our selections made and placed on a door hanger the night before; breakfast arrived at the the time we requested, and it was nicely presented, the food was hot, and was a nice treat in the morning as we watched the sea planes and boats on the water. When we called for the luggage transfer, it was a short wait until the gentleman arrived to take our bags.nnI highly recommend a stay at the Pan Pacific whether or not you are visiting for a cruise; excellent service and accommodation, and location to the cruise port is fantastic. Vancouver is a beautiful city with lots to offer.
