What an absolutely wonderful experience! We stayed at the Pan Pacific Vancouver two days prior to our Alaskan cruise. From the moment we arrived to the entrance and were greeted by friendly bellman assisting us with our luggage to the front desk staff who checked us in to the beautiful room. We were super pleased with every aspect of the hotel, perfect location to access sites downtown, easy access to the cruise port, fantastic hotel restaurants. At every turn the attention to detail was apparent. It is very clear that hotel leadership has done a wonderful job setting a very high bar that staff members meet. Bryce and his team exceeded every expectation and we will definitely return. We highly recommend this hotel.
Very disappointed experience for a 816$ a night hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. There better hotel close by for way better experience like the Fairmount. The first room they give us smell like cigarettes. Very disgusting! They had to give us another room which had a lot of dust. You expect a better customer service from a high end hotel. They forgot twice the romantic package my partner order for me. We had to go down again twice to ask them where was the wine and chocolates was. The AC wasn’t working proper. We were hot all night. We couldn’t sleep with the blanket even if we put it for 16 degrees. Customer service and hotel room I give one star. It’s truly not worth it. This night was suppose to be magical and it wasn’t.
Hotel and our view of the water were amazing. Unfortunately for us there was an event next to the pool blasting music that made it impossible to sleep/relax in the early evening while we were tired from traveling. We just happened the be one of the few rooms directly in the speakers path making things loud. If it weren’t for the event we’d have zero complaints.
Not what I would call a 5 star hotel. Tried to check in, they said it would be 30 minutes to an hour for it to be ready, and they would call. After an hour and a half, we went back to check. Magically we were told it was almost ready, and then it was. The room was an average hotel room.nThe amenities were similar to Holiday Inn Express, minus the convenience of plug-ins for phones etc. View out the window was extremely beautiful over looking the harbor.nWe tried the bar. Wine list quite limited. The riesling I ordered came and was a chardonnay. Prices in the restaurant were $$$$$. Don't mind if the food and service warrant.nThe pool area is outside and was a very nice, warm pool. Jacuzzi was not hot, jets were undersized. People kept trying to push the button again to get them going faster :-.
I don’t know how this is a 5 star hotel. Check in was awful, there was a long line and we had to get back in line because we never got a text saying our room was ready. In total spent 25 min in line.nnThe walls are also paper thin - I could clearly hear conversations and kids screaming from the other rooms. Heads up, there are many young families that stay here and the pool is often full of children.nnOther than that, the harbor view is beautiful and the location is excellent, but definitely not what I would call a 5 star hotel.
