The Sweet Pea has a cute play area, modelled after some old buildings. Thankfully the keep the numbers down in this area, because it isn't that large.nnAll interactions with staff were very pleasant.nnOur group of 6 4-adults + 2-young kids had a nice table for us. But the other group was quite large, utilizing several tables end-to-end. Because the dining area isn't very large, it was like walking through an obstacle course, to get the cutlery & napkins when your food orders arrived at your table.nnSpeaking of food...this is totally vegan food options. While I enjoy a pulled pork sandwich, the Jackfruit option was okay...but it lacked the flavor of the real-deal. The cheese on nan-bread sandwich was good. The Quesada my wife ordered was about 5-6 inches around. It seemed like a small kids meal.nnWalking to the Cafe side, I picked up a 500ml fruit drink in a square glass bottle. I was immediately informed, there was a $2.00 deposit!!! When expressing my surprise at that cost, the BIG shock was still coming. They wanted $13.50 for the 1-drink. Putting it back in the cooler, I opted for the $2.50 can of San Pellegrino instead.nnYes, we all enjoyed the play area with our grandkids. Having said that, I'm uncertain ALL customers enjoy the total vegan offerings. In many restaurants, there are vegan & GF options available. But the final decision is up to the ownership/management group on these food options.nnFrom my viewpoint, I'm uncertain if a 2nd visit is in my future. For $13.50, I could definitely purchase a better beverage, and enjoy a couple of glasses with my wife.

Such an excellent playhouse and cafe! My almost 4 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed her playtime. There's a good amount of toys and everything was very clean/well laid out. There were good food options too. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great playhouse! The prices to come in are good and I love that you book a spot so it’s not super crowded. Lots of centres are more focused on older kids. This play place has so much for younger toddlers and it felt much safer for my 21 month olds. The baked goods prices were quite high for the portions you got, but the meal menu looked great. It also felt like they could have had more staff on. The single hostess/server seemed quite busy. At the end of our time slot they also just closed the doors to the back without explaining what was happening, essentially locking us back there. As someone who had never gone, it would’ve made sense if they explained that they closed the doors so they could clean and we were to go out the back door to leave. We will definitely be returning though, the kids had so much fun and it felt much less chaotic than a rec centre playground.

The cutest place for littles to play!nReservations needed, but we were able to do a walk in.nSuper affordable, lots to play with. Mellow and calmnnFood and cafe is attached, so yummy!
