Pro Care Medical Clinic

I really like Dr. Gamra - he is very personable, provides good care, and listens to my concerns. When this place just opened, their receptionist was welcoming. However, when I last visited a few weeks ago, I did not have a pleasant experience with the two receptionists. When I entered the clinic at around 4:15pm, I had to take off my boots, and I was clearly struggling that I had to take a seat. It took me a couple of minutes to take them off. I made brief eye contact with the two receptionists, but they were just chatting and did not acknowledge me. Even when I went to the front desk, I stood there for a few seconds, looked at them, expecting that they would ask me for the reason for my visit. But they both just stared at me in silence, which was awkward, so I just said that I was there to see the doctor. Then they told me that they were no longer accepting patients because the doctor had to leave early - I understand this part. I just felt disappointed with the receptionists because they could have saved me the struggle of taking off my boots, could have saved me a few minutes by telling me that they are not accepting patients anymore at that time. They could have at least greeted me and asked me why I visited the clinic. These might just look like little things, but having a welcoming and approachable receptionist is also important in patient care, especially since the receptionist is the first person patients interact with when we enter the clinic.

Dr. Gamra and his staff are very welcoming. It was our first time in this clinic and wasn't disappointed. Dr. Gamra was cheerful to begin with and listened to our health concern. He explained well and helped us. It is expected that there's a waiting time in walk in clinics. But with Pro Care, it is worth the wait! I will spread the word to my relatives and friends. Thanks Dr. Gamra!

I love this clinic! Staff are sweet, and of course Dr. Gamra, an excellent Doctor! He is so kind, caring and really good in handling situation, concern. Highly recommended!

Dr. Gamra is our family doctor and we found him as one of the best doctors in this City. He is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and overall an excellent Doctor. His professionalism and knowledge is unparalleled. We changed our family doctors few times within last twenty years, and finally we found a doctor who is professionally excellent, and also a caring person. His understanding about the disease and medications are always hundred percent accurate.nWe are lucky that we have now an excellent family doctor.

Dr. Gamra is a good doctor. However, we were extremely dissatisfied with his receptionist, Cheryl. When we called at 9:30am, she said Dr. Gamra is only available until 2:30pm and we can come as walk-in patients. We came at 1:20pm and she said she cannot accept us anymore. If she told us that they have a cut-off to accept patients, we shouldn't have bothered to come. She was even rude when she spoke with me. I will come back to that clinic because of Dr. Gamra only if the receptionist is not her.
