The location cant be beat for students, my son says there are alot of student activities to get involved in as a resident; but when I entered the dorm room my eyes immediately started to swell with tears as I saw the jail like setting my beloved son was living in now. At least jail cells are provided with a tv. Hopefully, he will find a warm environment with the company of the other students; because it is deffintaly not a homely room.

Overly hot and walls are paper thin so if you have a neighbor that has their music or TV loud every night you get no sleep. One night it sounded like someone was drumming on something hard in the suite directly above me and when I went to say something about it, it turned out the sound was someone playing drums on a video game halfway down the hall from me. You'd think they'd have anticipated noise being an issue during the construction. It gets so hot in the winter and they don't let you even crack your windows open.

Good experience. Lived here for 3 years from 2017-20 and stayed in the hotel more recently. Fair priced accommodation for downtown YEG. Had the opportunity to network and make connections with people on campus who I wouldn’t have met otherwise. The rooms aren’t fancy and climate control is practically non-existent, but they are private and nicely furnished compared to most student dorms. Appreciated the front desk being open 24/7.

This place is terrible. Elevators broken, power always turned off, water always turned off, internet always down, constant construction outside my door, Constant screaming in the hallwa. People make several noise complaints and nothing changes???? This place charges you so much money for nothing to work right ! They took away the bike room and force you to squeeze your bikes in your tiny bedroom. Not to mention my room doesn’t even have a counter….After all these issues, the employees do not provide any help or solutions and are quit disrespectful. Definitely not returning in the fall nor plenty of other students.nnEdit after reply….nThis reply has been no help. This has been going on way before summer. I was notified by two workers and an email saying construction will start at 9am. It has been starting way earlier in the morning everyday. Where do we put our bikes? They scratch the walls because there is physically no room especially with two people living there with two bikes. The workers here enter your room without you knowing. My boyfriend was sleeping in the morning and a women unlocks his door and comes in to see him naked in his OWN room. He screams and she leaves. How can he even complain or confront her without any proof? What an invasion of privacy!! People are renting this place trusting that they’re safe. Very disappointed.

I’ve was living here for 2 years and this has honestly been the worst place to live for me. I’m only here cause I can’t afford anything else at the moment. They provide awful service at the front desk especially since they don’t care and don’t even get me started on the noise, the power being off, the water being off, and constant construction noice every single day. I wake up every morning to either a crane alarm, construction people screaming, or constant loud noises outside my door. This is DEFINITELY NOT the place you should move too. The worst part is I had a roommate that moved out, Residence said they would only check his room for the inspection, but the lady opens my door too TOO ME SLEEPING NAKED IN MY ROOM. this place is a joke save yourself the trouble. They really don’t care about you at all. Now they got me storing my bike in my room I can barely even live in. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I’m charged 860 to live in a concrete box that DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A COUNTER TO COOK ON. I’m at the point where I’m so disappointed with this institution that I will never be coming back in September and will be making sure everyone I know does not come here. I’ll say it again cause they really don’t, they people don’t give a single care for you take it from someone that has had enough of this ridiculousness. DO NOT LIVE HERE
