Lord Elgin Hotel

Amazing experience during our two night stay for a celebratory weekend for our engagement. Staff were so great and everyone was polite. The location is as central as it gets. The rooms are large and spacious and clean. Definitely recommend!

Our stay at the Lord Elgin for New Years and the World Junior tournament was perfect! Great location, quiet rooms, friendly and attentive staff. Our one minor issue was quickly resolved without hesitation. Will visit again soon.

We were especially grateful for the kindness of the restaurant staff, who went out of their way to make sure our son was comfortable and happy during our meals. It made dining such a pleasant experience!nnThe hotel was not only family-friendly but also a beautiful spot, centrally located. Our son had a blast, and we loved how welcoming the entire team was throughout our stay. We were upgraded to a King room with 2 windows facing the park on Elgin st. and the Church on Laurier st. from a classic queen room as we requested a complimentary upgrade for our 35th wedding anniversary. The staff including the parking staff is professional and friendly. The location is very safe and is perfect for exploring downtown Ottawa which is within walking distance to various landmarks. The hotel has an old world and luxurious feel to it and the room is spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of DJing at The Lord Elgin Hotel, and I must commend the front desk lady, Anna. She was incredibly professional and helpful, ensuring I had all the information I needed.nnThe concierge team parking the cars that afternoon made my life easy, and the staff at the Pearson Room in the hotel were also a great help. Five stars out of five!
