My Sis, Bro-in-Law and I visited Ottawa for a concert recently and decided to book at Les Suites as they had 2 bedroom suites.nI was a bit concerned as I haven’t been there in ages but it was perfect for our needs. Clean/bright/modern rooms recently renovated?, excellent service, and a solid location in the downtown core.nBonus- We were greeted with a nice ‘welcome card’ and bottle of wine. Nice touch! :nnThe only ‘negative’ is that their parking spots aren’t guaranteed first come, first serve! but we had no issues as it was a quiet night at the hotel.nnIf you’re seeking a hotel with 2 bedroom options, especially young families, I encourage you to check out Les Suites!
This hotel was lovely to stay at! All of the staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful! The room was immaculate and very spacious!! When I had a question the staff was quick to answer my text messages! I even messaged them to ask about a late check out and they were so kind! We ended up spending the evening with our son at the hospital, so we didn’t actually even stay the night! But it was a great landing place in between our friends wedding ceremony and reception. We will definitely be back!
Great apartment with spacious living room and well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer in closet in room. Bathroom also spacious with a good layout for two people to use at the same time. Beds have a good mattress that is firm enough to not feel a partner's movement. Front desk service is very good, but housekeeping forgot to change kitchen garbage once and had to ask for coffee and kitchen towel refills once. Otherwise, great service. Location is convenient for nearby shopping at Rideau Centre and the Byward Market. The downside to location is being the center of a busy traffic location. There were also a couple a shelter for homeless and a service place for them off to one side of the hotel; could be uncomfortable for foreign visitors unfamiliar with people using these services, but problems never arise from them, and it is not across from the front entrance.
Amazing room modern suite with so much space and everything you could need, including a washer and tumble dryer. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable. Parking was a good idea given the area, there seems to be a drug user community camped around the area of the hotel. Overall great hotel, good location for downtown, would stay again
Upon arrival I would say the hotel is very clean, and maintained. While it is ideally in a great central location, it's very unsafe with multiple homeless people across the road and surrounding area.nWe stayed here for 4 days. The water pressure in the shower was pretty good. However, the light in the bathroom nonstop flickered room 407. And the room service was very disappointing.nnWe came back to our bed made, in the same stained bedding. While garbage in the bins was removed, the coffee was not replenished and coffee maker remained unclean. No toilet paper restocked. And dirty dishes also remained.
