I’ve stayed at many hotels in Ottawa - and this is the one I always come back to. It’s centrally located - one minute walk away from the Rideau Centre and 5 minute walk to the Byward Market. Rooms are recently renovated and fully stocked for long or short term stays. Cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery, pots, pans, stove top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher are all included. It’s like staying in a well appointed apartment instead of a hotel, which makes for an even more comfortable stay. Families will be delighted by how much space there is to spread out in these suites, and that they can save money by preparing meals in their rooms. The service is wonderful - the staff make you feel right at home and are very kind and helpful. They know Ottawa inside and out and will take the time to answer any questions you may have. The manager at check in, Pierre, provides customer service like a seasoned pro. You can tell that he genuinely cares about your experience at the hotel. His level of care and customer service was a highlight of trip - he provided excellent recommendations of where to eat and where to go downtown. I can’t wait to come back and visit again in the summer.
My family and I rented 2 rooms over family day weekend this year.nThe amenities were wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained.nThe service was amazing. stayed in a single room suite at this Ottawa hotel for the second time and was thoroughly impressed.nnThe location is unbeatable—steps away from Rideau Center, ByWard Market, and within walking distance to key areas like the parliament and the Alexandra Bridge for a quick trip to Gatineau. Transportation is seamless, with the VIA train station nearby and a taxi stopping bay right in front of the hotel. The suite itself is spacious and well-equipped, featuring a full kitchen with utensils, a washing machine, dryer, and a balcony for fresh air—perfect for long-term stays. The staff were friendly and helpful, and cleanliness was consistently up to standard. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely return on my next visit to Ottawa.
Les Suites punched way above its weight and then asked if I needed help with my bags.nnFreshly renovated and it shows, but without that cold, soulless “we just flipped this place” vibe. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful in the way that makes you suspicious at first, like, what’s the catch? Turns out there isn’t one.nnThe rooms are big. Proper big. Full kitchenette, dining area, and in-unit laundry. This is the kind of setup that quietly spoils you for future hotel stays. I could actually live here for a bit, not just sleep and escape.nnDead quiet too. No hallway Olympics, no neighbors auditioning for a Netflix special through the walls. Sleep came easy.nnAnd the kicker: it was the lowest price of any comparable hotel in the area. That almost feels like a clerical error, but I’m not asking questions.nnExceeded expectations across the board. If you want space, peace, and value without sacrificing comfort, this is a no-brainer.
Very clean and comfortable stay - this was our 2nd time staying here and we refuse to stay anywhere else in Ottawa moving forward. You can’t beat the location, and the price is extremely fair, especially if you book early. Pierre was incredibly helpful and kind and was able to answer all questions we had, and make suggestions for places to check out in the Byward market. Already planning our summer stay!
