Central location and near TD Place, National Gallery of Canada. Amenities were good. My only issues were that the bathroom was small and narrow and the room was extremely statically charged. It was dry and everything you could touch was creating static discharge. If they can fix those few things I'm sure it would be a better stay. Otherwise good for the price and location.
Great value for what you get at this hotel. It is clean and updated. Check in was smooth. Internet works great. There’s a restaurant called Coopers on the main floor. My room had a balcony as well.nPlenty to do nearby on Elgin, Rideau, or downtown in general. The bathroom is a tad small. We had the regular room, may do a suite next time for more seating.nOnly feedback would be we need places to hang towels! There is only one towel bar in the shower. No hooks.
Perfect place very local to everything. Walk anywhere. The only issue is the balcony are nasty. Very dirty dont touch the railings. Everything else is renovated and beautiful.
Love it! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The rooms are lovely, staff are friendly, and the hotel is also pet friendly. It is located in a perfect area within walking distance of all of your favourite Ottawa tourist spots. In short driving distance, you can also access many of Ottawa’s and Quebec’s museums and attractions. It is my home when I am away from home.
On the last night of my stay, I called the front desk to see if I could get a complimentary late check out, so I could plan accordingly, but the front desk, Jennifer, advised me that they could not confirm and asked me to email the management and call tomorrow morning to confirm. As a customer why I should email or call tomorrow morning to confirm since I was told the front desk is available 24/7. The hotel front desk representatives, they should know and are able to answer this type of question for customers. However, she refused to answer and pushed the type of question to someone else. That is irresponsible and incompetent.nThe room I booked is very old. The heating system made a very loud noise which made my partner and I could not sleep. The bathroom seems renovated not long ago, however, the size is very small and one of corners of bathroom vanity that points forwards to the toilet is so sharp. It would be very dangerous if there are kids around and they would easily hit their heads to that sharp vanity corner. I got hurt a few times when i was using the toilet and had to use a towel to cover the corner. The space of toilet area is tiny which made it hard to move around. Furthermore, the quality of toilet paper is low and they are in light grey color and rough. Moreover, the bed frame is not stable when we sleep and roll, it makes weird sound often. I would stay away this place next time.
