Days Inn - Ottawa

This hotel has a very good location, right down downtown, with a short walk to everything you could want. The rooms were clean with a view of the parking lot, which is fine because you can see that your car is safe. The room next to ours was a little loud buy quieted down around 11. The price was quite good and I would recommend this as a nice budget place to stay.

Very nice accommodations, really comfy beds. Restaurant and bar attached to Inn is very nice, well priced and seems quiet enough to enjoy a drink with good company. Only improvement I could suggest is adding a microwave to the rooms but even then a very small inconvenience not that big of a deal.

Overall it was a great location and staff were great, reason for the two star. Stayed at the Inn for a few days. the last few days, a guest on the same floor / next to my room for two days straight cried, where I didn’t sleep & when I did, woke up relatively late and was late for my purpose of being in Ottawa. Even with taking an Uber (which I originally had no plans to, due to the location and being able to walk over to the venue). I called front desk on both occasions and the crying didn’t stop, I question if he made the attempt to control the loud cries. Due to the inconvenience and extra costs occurred to me, I called the GM Demetry on two occasions. Never got a hold of him, however, I’m yet to receive a call back. I find his behaviour unprofessional and lack of service or there of. My recommendation, don’t stay here.

Great clean place. Front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. Beds were very well cleaned, the pillows felt new and so did the actually bedding.
