Decent accommodation for it's price. A bit dated but serves it's purpose. Best part is lots of deers come right up to the entrances. Really cool for the kids! Kinda wish they had their outdoor hot spring since there is a massive sign in the front that says so, yet it's been gone for years... Owner really should remove the false advertising :p

Nice hotel. This is the second time I got a room at the Inns of Banff for my ski trip in the area. Its a very nice hotel and fairly priced. Its on the edge of town, so expect a 20 minute s walk to get downtown, but I enjoyed the short walk after supper or a night out. I'm not giving it its fifth star because the first time around, it had the sweetest outdoor hot pool, but I was closed this year. Bring back the outdoor pool please. Otherwise, everything was great.

This hotel is quite nice, it's tucked away at the edge of Banff, very easy to miss, but has great customer service and clean and large rooms. The views were good from even the cheapest room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the inns of Banff if you'd prefer a quieter location a bit away from the downtown core. They offer a $5 coupon if you decline room service in order to improve sustainability, but the coupon is for the mediocre hotel restaurant and bar.

Room services weren’t available when I was there because a large group took priority over dining. Rooms decently clean. I was in the pet friendly room. Deck wasn’t washed from dogs prior. So bed they gave us was “well used”. Breakfast was good! Air conditioning didn’t work and it was uncomfortably warm.

The hotel is very easily accessible by car, which I enjoyed because I don't get to the mountains or Banff near enough. The Junior suite, which we stayed in, had a great King sized bed that was very comfortable, and a private balcony on the top floor. The views of the mountains were amazing, and even more spectacular in the morning as the sun came up. However, the room could have done with some upkeep. The room was very outdated, and the leather couch was starting to fade in certain places from being in the sun so long. The wall that separated the sleeping area from the "living area" had cracks on both sides. The bathroom ceiling had seen better days, and you could tell the ceiling tiles were starting to mold. The sleeping area had a window that looked out onto the mountains, which was great, but you could see that there was some water spots on the top part of the window casement, similar to the kind you would see if there was water damage or some kind of leak. Overall, it felt very grungy and off putting. There was even a black stain on our bed sheets. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid, even with the beautiful mountain view. I was also annoyed at the fact that they clearly judged us as soon as we walked in, given we are a younger couple, and had us pay for the room prior to staying. I know that this is not something they do with all guests, as when we were checking out, I could hear their interactions with other guests. Also, if you are going in the winter when there is ice, please be careful! The parking lots are up a pretty steep hill, and although there was sand down, they road was still extremely slippery. Honestly, I'm surprised I was able to make it up in the sedan style car I was driving. It is definitely not ideal for those without 4 wheel drive.
