Canalta Lodge

Stylish and comfortable on every count. The walls are thin, so if you are planning on sleeping in, ear plugs are a good option. The included breakfast was convenient the day we were looking for something quick before our day of snowboarding. However, the quality of the food didn't leave much of an impression on us and we opted to eat breakfast in town the following day. Overall, a lovely experience. Once the courtyard is finished, I'm sure it will add a lovely addition to the already welcoming cafe area and foyer.

Nice staff. The hotel seems like it has been recently renovated. The room was good and the bed was great. The staff must have forgotten to clean the top of the AC for quite a while but, expect that, it was pretty clean. The only problem is the breakfast + breakfast area; the room where the food is served is too small and the choice is pretty limited (at least it was included in the price of the night otherwise, I wouldn't have paid for it) + it seems that for the breakfast, nothing was recycled, which is super upsetting. Overall we spent 2 great nights there!

Stayed here Friday April 6, hotel was very nice, modern and clean through out. Rustic, nature modern style was very appealing. Underground parking was large enough to fit a full sized truck which was nice considering other hotels were too small for the truck. The lobby has a cute little cafe in it and they provide a breakfast included in your stay but I did not take part in it. The room was clean and very cute, however I was surprised to see there was no actual lights in the room. The only lighting you have besides the bathroom and front entry light are 2 lamps and a reading light attached to the headboard of the bed. No ceiling lights, which I found odd and a bit unsettling. Additionally they advertise that there’s a hot tub and sauna at this hotel.. but in fact it’s not in this hotel, you go through a series of underground hallways which lead you to a very disgusting, run down, old, cheap hotel called the voyager which is connected to this hotel and that’s the hot tub you use. We did not use it obviously. Yuck! I would stay here again but next time we are going to stay in a hotel which has its own hot tub as we were looking forward to using it.

Hotel was nice. In the process of being renovated. Breakfast left a bit to be desired as everything kept running out really quickly. Bed was comfortable though and nice view from balcony!

Spacious rooms that have been recently renovated, with a mountain cabin design theme that works really well with the setting, at the East end of the main Banff strip. Plenty of plugs to charge your devices, ample room to set your suitcase down and find what you need, and heated underground parking to keep the snow off your vehicle. The Canalta Lodge also provides free breakfast that includes hot items as well as the standard fare of bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and oatmeal options.
