Not a bad hotel and the pricing is reasonable when compared with hotels of similar grade. I was just caught off guard by its charging of $20 per night for underground parking. This was not mentioned in my booking. Street parking at the back of the hotel is free but good luck if you found a parking at night. The regular two-queen bed room we stayed at was spacious and clean. I think rooms are recently renovated as the lobby decors, hallway carpet and lighting looked old to me. The reason I picked the hotel was its hot tub and sauna. However, many people were in the facilities during both nights I stayed there. I like the location too although it is at the end of the Banff Avenue, which is about 10-15 minutes walk away from all shops and restaurants. It's quieter and also a pleasant walk back to the hotel after dinner. If you are looking for just a simple hotel, clean beds and bathroom, I will recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Banff Inn was wonderful! The location is excellent, with easy access to everything in town, and the convenient basement parking made it hassle-free. The room was much bigger than I expected, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The front desk staff, especially the hospitable lady who welcomed us, made us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d definitely return!

Given this is a three star hotel, the service and amenities were quite good. However, the heating system is loud enough to wake you up when it comes on. not sure if this is typical of all rooms. Apart from this rooms are comfortable and the hotel is situated where all downtown hotels are in Banff with convenient bus service across the street. I would say the following: A microwave would be good with the little fridge. Storage for clothing is minimal. The restaurant is mainly pizza and food is only fair. On the other hand, housekeeping was very good.

a bit far from downtown area, so it's a bit of a walk. service was nice, but unfortunately they did not include microwaves in the rooms so we had to bring our food down to microwave. good service with kind staff. the hot tub was super nice and relaxing.
