Buffalo Mountain Lodge

I can not recommend this hotel enough! I stayed in many hotels all around the world and I believe this is the best! Top notch room, top notch amenities, top notch rooms.nThis hotel should be 5- star hotel. The supplies in the room are from Crate and Barrel or L’occitane.nThey had towels and bath robes. The only thing missing in the room was slippers. I think we will come back every year to this place. Waking up to a balcony with forest view. Touching the pine trees while you are having your coffee on the balcony feels wonderful Ground heating, so, not even one sound or No noise at all for the AC or heater. Amazing! This place is magicalthey have a great gym. Outdoor hot tub.

Our stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge was beyond excellent. The view was great, the service was better, and the room we stayed at was just the best. We stayed in the 2-Queen Premiere Lodge and it had easy access to nature just by the back door. It was clean and everything was easy to use. We ran some problems with the billing at check out because of the bank but the staff was very understanding, friendly, and accommodating to our needs and necessities. Completely professional and respectful throughout the whole ordeal. If I have a recommendation tho, it would be that I would appreciate better allocation of parking spots for guests. However, it was understandable because we stayed at a high demand time over a long weekend. Overall, I would certainly stay here again and bring my family and friends over.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and this trip we brought our new puppy with us and wow, what an amazing trip. We booked 1 night just to see how it would go and ended up staying a second night no problem. The staff are so kind and extremely accommodating.nnBecause we didn’t want to go too far with our pup in his crate in the room, we decided to eat all our meals at Prow. Honestly amazing food my husband said the burger was probably the best one he’s ever had. Such a stunning space to sit at the end and beginning of the day for a warm meal. We also never ever get dessert after dinner but decided to get the cheese cake and take it to go and eat in the room and we both we’re obsessed with it.nnWe will never stay anywhere else in Banff. Being able to have a fire in your room and step out onto the balcony is such a treat. This hotel is incredibly quaint, cozy, and has everything you need for a weekend away.nnJust book here.

We had our wedding at Buffalo mountain lodge last week. We were overall very happy with our experience. The location was great to feel like we were tucked away and not down in the very touristy main avenue areas. Our guests all stayed there and had no complaints and said the dinner was some of the best wedding food they’ve had. The one thing that could improve was overall communication with phone calls and emails and when trying to plan our wedding. We would still recommend this venue for anyone having a small intimate wedding, it was the perfect spot!

Brilliant Place, a little out of the town by foot, but we have a car and no doubt there’s public transport. The main reception/bar/restaurant is really cosy and relaxing. Food menu good choices and the rooms nice with an outside patio area. Sam behind the bar Aussie guy, too easy was excellent each time we were around, it’s the little touches that go a long way. Highly recommend this place
