Two night stay as a family of four in mid Aug. Was conscious ref 4 of us in one room but was pleasantly surprised as 2 queen sized beds in a good sized room that comfortably held 5 suitcases with plenty of room still for us to move around.nVery comfortable beds and curtains did block out light really well, after our 8 hour journey!nGood sized fridge in the room and the shower very good size. Didn't have breakfast or eat at hotel so couldn't comment but brought drinks from cafe downstairs in lobby which was nice. As an IHG card member opted out of room service to get extra points, which many hotels have started to do not only for sustainability but does reduce their costs! Walking distance to Montreal centre for usnOnly constructive feedback would be larger bath towels and as we were 4 people, could of done with 4 bottles of complementary water each day instead of 2.nOverall a nice hotel and would stay again!
recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience! The location is unbeatable if you enjoy walking around downtown—everything is within reach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of cuisines, and even a grocery store just a short walk away, which was really convenient.nnOne of the highlights of my stay was the pool on the 15th floor. It’s a great spot to relax with stunning views of the city. The gym was also a nice addition, though it would be even better if they had more equipment. However, the view from the gym more than makes up for it—working out while overlooking the city is a fantastic experience.nnOverall, I had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore downtown while enjoying some excellent amenities.
This is a very good hotel. The room was nice and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment. Our room had a good TV merely we used it, a coffee machine, a small safe, a refrigerator, an iron, free wifi didn't use etc. The hotel staff and employees were polite and accommodating.nnAccessibility throughout the hotel was very good and made it easy to navigate the city. The gym was well-managed and featured a variety of equipment, which was perfect for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. Additionally, the indoor pool at the roof level was a nice touch, offering a great place to relax and enjoy the view.nnHowever, there were a couple of drawbacks. The breakfast could have been better in terms of variety considering their price which was expensive for what they offered. Also, parking at the hotel was quite expensive, and the spaces were tight. If you're driving a larger vehicle, like an F150 truck, you might find it challenging to maneuver and park comfortably.nnOverall, the Holiday Inn in Montreal is a very good choice for travelers and families, with comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and friendly staff, but it's worth noting the limitations in parking and breakfast.
Relatively new building. Rooms were nice, although somewhat minimal looking.nnWe were on the seventh floor facing Mt Royal. I would caution some guest regarding noise. We felt the rooms were actually quite noisy outside noise, not inside, as the sound proofing seems very minimal, if at all. Simply put, motorcycles, noisier vehicles, emergency services, the odd dog barking, could all be clearly heard, especially when trying to sleep. Ear plugs may be in order for lighter sleepers.nnOther than that, great location. Gym was great, with a really nice view on the fifteenth floor.nnStaff was nice.
We booked with 4 guests on June 29-July 1 and attended the Montreal Jazz festival in Montreal. I always read the reviews to get the right hotel especially avoiding bed bugs. We had a good stay here from fast checking in , make sure read their policy to avoid delays Parking was safe but a little pricey. The room is clean with very good beds and pillows. Toilet was clean and had all amenities. Window city view was amazing. Elevator was new , clean and only customers with hotel card can use it. Pool is clean. Sauna was closed at that time. Checking out on time was no hassle. The only thing was we had a false alarm at 3:35 on our first night of stay. The alarm woke everybody and we all went down using the stairs. We came from 12th floor. I did get an apology from the manager about this. But overall , the hotel itself was great :
