Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain

A luxurious taste of Montreal Golden age area from the last century. There is something special about walking in this hotel with its rich/imposing decor. The location is perfect if you have business downtown or for overnight train travelers. High floor rooms provide an exceptional view on Montreal and I particularly like the view in rooms 1 to 5 on each floor. The rooms are very clean and usable/practical. Note the rooms are as well preserved as I think they could have been but a refresh would definitely help support the premium price the hotel is asking for.

This hotel is in a very convenient location a block from the central train station and Bell Centre and within walking distance to many attractions. It was built in the 60s so the layout and decor are a little dated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was on 25th floor with a nice view of downtown.

First: you will be blown away by the panoramic views you have in your room. The curved windows give you a nearly 180 degree view over downtown Montreal. Spectacular! The bed was super comfy, but overall the room needs to be renovated. There's a shower curtain!

Great Location Near the city center and the old city. The hotel is celebrating it's 50th anniversary. The staff and especially the concierge staff are great. The rooms are nice but the bathroom is extremely small. Try to stay on a higher floor overlooking Mont Royal and the city.

I loved this hotel. Great location. We could walk to lots of attractions and restaurants, it was near main roads, and there is a metro stop under the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful.
